I love the comments, but really this is how decks were shuffled back in the 90s.  That's part of why NM Beta cards are worth so much more than played ones.  The fact that this was recorded in 2011 means this guy was just completely ignorant, and that is what is amusing about it.  However that said if you've never bridged MTG cards you're missing out.  Grab a pile of 60 basics and give it a try.  It's much more satisfying than normal playing cards.   wink

I don't have a problem with bridge shuffling, but if your opponent ever shuffles and tries to present a deck like that, you should immediately call a judge.

This is true.  This is not good enough to be random.  Also I was amused when he did the pile he said he liked to pick them up in a "random" order, then explained the "pattern" he used to pick them up. wink
