Notes

I can't seem to escape my cycle of black decks lately, but looking at this one, that's OK. While there are some clear overlaps with a few other decks, it is very much its own deck. The majority of the 17 cards it shares with We All Must Make 'Em are staples in my punishment-style black decks, so their appearance here is not a problem. What this does better than many before is benefit by death and allow death to happen in more ways and for more purposes. The 17/15/1/5/0/0/2 curve is odd, and some might wonder at the presence of 4 copies of Dark Ritual, but the ability to accelerate up the curve quickly and empty a hand of cheap things is beneficial. The average 2.10 cost doesn't hurt, either.
