This was designed as a speed thallid deck, meant to build quickly, then hit hard (Army of Allah helps there). Concordant Crossroads could be devastating if played early enough, and some key regeneration helps. The lack of Wrap in Vigor is puzzling, however, as it would have been ideal in this setting. The 11/7/11/8/2 curve feeds the low end well and gives another burst at the 3-spot, and Juniper Order Advocates can make use of some of the two-color lands that otherwise would have spent time pinned down. The 2.56 average cost is relatively low for thallids, too.
