Hey so i just spent the day logging about 2000 cards. I think I am half way through my collection now. So now i would like to give some feedback.
First one would be, I would like to have a way to show each printing of a card as a separate entry in the table. So all my M10 and M12 overlap would appear in 2 line as opposed to jumbled together as it is now. This would make pricing easier. For instance right now I don't know if the price for the named card is the price of the first print, last print, or some average of the printings i have in my collection. Like wise having foils separated from the regulars in the same manner would fix the foil price problem I have seen some people mention on this forum.
I do like the mode where you list your most recently added card, and the prompt to switch this mode is unobtrusive but very helpful. Good job on that.
In the advanced card add mode it would be nice as you are filling in the details for the current card to show some details about the current cards in your collection by that name, mostly quantity. I was a bit careless with my stack of cards, I might have added some twice and this feature would make it easy to see if I already added it.
Also if you open up the api for this service it could lead to some other developers to make mobile phone apps to connect to this database, which could be very handy.
Finally in the advance card mode there is a bug where sometimes the ajax messes up when you hit enter to auto-complete the card name the auto-complete box stays up, if you hit enter again it causes the same letter to auto-complete again. adding the last X character to the card name again. This possibly could be fixed if the js clears out the name and fills it in completely as opposed to just filling in whats left, or maybe just double checking that the box closes on auto-complete. I am pretty sure this is ultimately caused by a combination of server load and a less than adequate connection on my part.
All in all you are providing a great service. Keep up the good work. Thanks.
