Scratchpad - 0 cards, 0 distinct
Cards in the scratchpad represent cards that you are considering for this deck, but are not actually in the built deck. They do not count towards the in built decks count shown in your inventory. If you are using the Auto Trade feature, they will be still be marked for trade although cards in your main deck and sideboard will not.
No cards here. :(

The basic idea here is to exile your opponent's cards with any of the 16 cards in the deck that can do so (Quick reference: Oblivion Sower, Silkwrap, Stasis Snare, Quarantine Field, and Titan's Presence; There's also 2 Radiant Purge in the board that get sided in very often, and I guess you could count Ulamog), Then process them with Blight Herder to get a gang of tokens. The tokens are especially good if you've got a Gideon emblem out, btw. A particularly good turn sequence is T2 Silkwrap~T3 Stasis Snare~T4 Gideon~T5 Blightherder. Often, however, you'll actually play your Blight Herder after you play Oblivion Sower, as Sower guarantees that you'll get the extra value off the Herder. The deck covers the early game very well, using Arashin Cleric and Knight of the White Orchid as early creatures that block well and give us relevant effects (the land drop on KotWO is especially nice in this deck), as well as great early removal like Silkwrap and Stasis Snare. On turn 5, we can Planar Outburst, and follow up with Eldrazi on our next turn, which is often game. Emeria Sheperd is the last thing I'll talk about, and it's definitely worthy of its spot in the deck (I'm actually thinking about adding a second one). It has great synergy with Oblivion Sower, especially if we can play a non-plains (like Sanctum of Ugin, and Smoldering Marsh is good for this reason too) to activate the Sheperd, returning the Sower to our hand so we can cast it and get its trigger, thus enabling even more landfall triggers (and sometimes we'll get a Plains from Abzan or Jeskai - and remember those Canopy Vistas and Prairie Streams are Plains). Sheperd can also get back any Silkwraps or similar enchantments that have been destroyed for any reason, and sometimes even just bringing back an Arashin Cleric is amazing. This deck actually has a lot going for it in this format! It has decent game against quite a few decks, so sleeve it up and check it out!
