Yuriko perfectly embodies what a ninja should be in Magic. She stays in the shadows until a ninja pierces through an enemy's defenses, and then flashes in to deal an unknown amount of damage. The amount of misdirect, secrecy, and uncertainty makes facing this deck truly feel like you're up against an army of ninjas. Your creatures can't block them, as if they're hidden in the shadows when they strike. They duplicate and disappear. They kill you out of nowhere, without any epic war or ball of fire, just carefully timed strikes that are hard to predict, hard to react to, and hard to survive.
