Hi guys I am trying to break into the modern/legacy format a bit more and get out of standard for a bit. I AM trying to pick up a few more cards for my standard deck (mostly the lands) but I am trying to convert my standard trade fodder into eternal trade fodder. I am basically willing to trade into any modern or legacy staple. If you only have standard stuff, I am interested in shock lands, deathrite shaman, and snapcaster mage. I would also pick up entreat the angels and giest of saint traft, but they are both too inflated for me right now.
The deck I am going to build for modern is going to be jund colored, but actual jund will be a little bit difficult to achieve. I think I will start with the ever awesome living end deck, and slowly start accumulating cards for actual jund. So if you have any cards for this decks, please start up a trade with me

Updated. The only things I still need for my decks are Jace (T_T) and stromkirk noble. So in preparation of building other decks in the future, I need to finish my playsets of shocklands. If you have spares of any, shoot me a trade and we can work something out.

I having been playing cube draft with a guy at my LGS with the most amazing cube I have ever seen. It is a power cube, and about 95% foiled (of the cards that were printed in foil). I was shocked that he was so generous as to let people who were for the most part acquaintances play with his cards that are worth hundreds of dollars. He invited me to play even though I had never played cube and had only drafted with this guy a couple of times. He says he just enjoys the chance to play with his vintage cards since he never would get a chance otherwise. It was an absolute blast and I am extremely grateful to him for the experience.
So in order to give something back to him I am trying to track down one of the few cards that he doesn't have foiled yet. So if ANYONE has a FOIL Liliana of the Dark Realms for trade please either post here or start up a trade with me. If I can track down this card that he wants I may come back with a list of few others (especially the small stuff) to try and help him finish foiling out the cube, but first thing is first.
Also, I have a regular Liliana of the Dark Realms that I can trade towards the foil one if you want one but not necessarily in foil. Even if you don't see anything in my tradelist, still post if you are interested and I can rummage around my binders and see if we can't work something out.

This sort of thing doesn't seem like it you will be able to come up with a perfect system. I think you might be able to establish a scale for trade ups/down based on card value, but their are simply too many variables to consider. I think your best bet would be to put on your profile that you are open to these sort of "uneven" trades and that if anyone is interested they should start a trade and message you to work out the exact value and details.

Unfortunately I have FINALLY received an offer for other standard stuff so I may no longer need the last bonfire. However, this beautiful Sylvan is still up for trade for modern/legacy stuff.

I am now desperate enough to entertain offers including legacy/modern cards. I have a legends Sylvan library that would be pretty darn close in value. I also have some shocklands and other stuff. Pretty much anything other than scrublands is now on the table.

Think the issue is that a lot of people are either A) using them or B) holding onto them to trade for "the next big thing". The only problem is that if control becomes really popular the value on bonfire is going to drop, and I need them now before that happens >_<

I couldn't get one at FNM either! I did pick up a sublime if that entices one out of hiding.
