Hello all,
I had a brainstorm session and have numerous ideas for improvements, most of which I haven't seen posted (let me know if any of these are already suggested).

There are essentially three categories: Trades, Trade filtering, and Other.

Other:

  • Deck history

  • Intended format for decks

  • Profile option to list yourself as open to buying or selling, for search purposes

  • List tradelist column in decks; for that extra layer of idiotproofing!

  • Price fluctuation notifications: specify a certain dollar difference or percentage difference, and send you a message

Trades

  • Cards involved in trades
Another column in each trade, showing whether that card is in another trade.  Click on the number to go to the card's page, where it would show which active trades have that card.

  • Trade edit history
Tracks the edits made to the trade, perhaps wiki-esque?

  • Money entry, for those buying or selling, or as a balancer

  • Whether trader is open to buying or selling

  • Reverse search: find people who want your card, primarily for sellers

Trade filtering
This is a list of search features I'd like to see when looking for trades:

  • Will Send filter: Local, My Country, and Worldwide checkboxes; mostly for filtering out the Local traders

  • Local area searching: distance in miles or within country

  • Trader in this country

  • Minimum quantity of the card

  • Minimum dollar value of tradeable cards

  • Minimum quantity of tradeable cards

  • Minimum dallar value of wanted cards

  • Minimum quantity of wanted cards

  • Option to omit profiles you have recently seen that have not been updated

  • Minimum feedback

Let me know what y'all think!

There is a way to export your Inventory, Wishlist and Tradelist; hover over the "View" menu on the top right of the list, then hit "Export". It will choose the name and quantity by default, and you can choose other things like edition and price. This is in CSV format, or Comma Seperated Variables; import it into Excel and it works just fine.

For decks there is no export function, but you can go to the same "View" menu and click Print; copy/paste that to a text file and that deck is backed up.

When adding to my inventory, if there is only one edition for each card it would be nice if that edition was automatically given to the card.

I love trading a lot of cards at once, but I don't like having to Auto Add each card; this takes up a lot of time. My two suggestions are:

  • An "Add All" button besides each person's name, which adds all cards from that side of the trade to the trade

  • A batch import, just like adding to the inventory.

First off, wonderful job with the site, I've been using TCGPlayer for prices and buying for a while and got tired of EssentialMagic being so clunky, and this covers the bases very nicely. I especially like that you are working on incorporating requests into your site.

On that note, I have a request that spawned from needing to specify editions; a page that recognizes all cards that have multiple editions (that aren't specified yet) and shows them in a list with dropdowns for edition and quantity/edition. This could also be extended to any of the other categories, particularly condition.

Thank you for your consideration.
