Great news! You guys are handling this a lot better than I thought it would go. Now I'm thinking who needs tcgplayer?

I look forward to seeing how this progresses. I will definitely look at selling my cards here. I'm on ebay and amazon so why not.

One more thing, you might consider connecting up with Crystal Commerce. I would love to have my inventory automatically synced. I created a db-->cc conversion script already but even better integration would be awesome especially for all of the established sellers, many of which post on tcgplayer. They would probably love another channel hooked up directly I know I would!

Cool site, it looks really nice actually. Why are you shutting down? I just got into crystal commerce myself, selling on Amazon really well.

If we can make it easy I can give you a list of what I'm looking for, if the totals on there are correct. I could do +10% what your buylist is. Would that work?

What do you value your whole collection at?

I'd probably be looking to pay about 60% or just above what store buylist would be for random rares.

Or if you want to trade into other more expensive cards, check out my list. I might be willing to trade down depending what it is.

Would you consider doing some modern cards for shocks?

Angel's grace, grafdiggers, torpor orb, sorin, lord. They aren't junk but I've got quite a few of them.

I have a load of mana bloom too, that spec never paid off. got rid of 120 reverent hunters recently heh. chan fireball generally pays .10 too for bulk rare.

otherwise I got lots to trade, primarily want shock lands right now. foil shocks even better.

I don't mean to be misleading, I'm sorry about that; intentionally emailing chedy is probably not the answer, you're right. I've had past experiences so I'm a bit more intense or passionate and willing to fight, than I need to be.

I'm a hippie at heart too, that's why this aggravates me so much, can't we all just get along? There are so many dividing issues within the relatively small active MTG community as it is. We should more focus on being united than divided.

You could hypothetically copy this to your own github account and let google manage the process. If TCG wants to disallow it they will have to block google.

This is a typical kind of response from him. I am not surprised he doesn't give a wink about other people in the community, or the community as a whole that count on these prices.

I have had dealings with him in the same way, non-communicative, non-negotiable. While this may be a business practice for them, it just makes him and the TCG site look like assholes. The way he doesn't want to include or work with anybody on anything. I have heard this from many different website owners, users, and stores.

Someone suggested using MTGstocks, well guess where those prices come from too. Also MTGprice just released a beta API but again they use some TCG but also other pries such as amazon, and larger store prices, which combined isn't always as accurate or accepted as TCG prices are. It's a start, you could talk with Alasdair over there, see if he is receptive of other ideas.

Overall, I am disgusted with this. I think it's about time users, store owners, and websites stand up to TCG against their bully tactics.
