It is a similar idea, but it looks like he's trying to muscle his fatties in by actually earning the mana. I've only got one Progy in there because I have a few different methods of searching the deck for him and then playing him from my hand without paying his actual cost. And I'm figuring too that if he were to get killed he goes right back into the deck and I should still have the mechanics in place to pull him a second time.

Not that my idea is original or anything, I've just never done it before.

I've been playing with a deck idea for getting Progenitus into a game. So after mulling over my collection for a few hours (plus adding a few cards I don't have), this is what I've come up with. GW aggro, with some removal and a few methods of sneaking (cheating) fatties onto the battlefield. I would appreciate some feedback, just know that I'm fairly new to the game and I'm still learning the art of deck crafting. So if I showed up at an FNM event, what outcome could I expect from something like this?

I'm willing to throw in the bonesythe but I'll just do the 3 for 2.

Nah if I only got one I'd still have to get another somehow, plus that would leave me with just a single lantern. Not worth it, though I appreciate the consideration.

LOL gotcha smile

I'll trade you two chromatic lantern for two master of waves.

Full price or are you cutting a deal?

Is it possible to get the column sort function added to active trades (not my tradelist or wishlist, but the actual list of cards in any given trade)?

Since I physically sort my cards by set, it can be difficult to pull a lot of cards if they're from many different sets. Having a way to sort (alphabetically, by set, rarity, etc) would make this process significantly easier.

If not, ah, well. Still love the site. smile

I second this. Cards don't show up in an order that's easily searchable. If we could sort them it would be a lot easier to see if we're doubling up on a card or playset.

Someone else will be able to give you much better advice than me, but this doesn't look half bad for a starter deck. You've got a few good 1 drops and if you can get 3mana you can sacrifice centaur's herald for a 3/3. Elvish Mystic is a great 1 drop that a lot of pros use and will help you ramp up your green mana. Those are two good cards to have 3 of in your deck. Now you just need to play it, see what works and what doesn't, and buy singles to improve it.

The hundred buck boxes are booster boxes. Deckbuilder boxes are twenty.

One thing you should do is take that csv file and upload it to deckbox so people don't have to download your inventory. Now, as for advice, I'm relatively new to the game as well but I believe your best course of action based on what you've got right now is going to be to build around what you actually have rather than trying to be so specific. Just arrange your cards by color, pick the two you like best and put your best cards into the deck (this is still the hardest part for me. The cards I like the most aren't always the best cards to play). Put in 25 lands and 35 spells and you'll have yourself a deck.

Not at all rude, I like when things are to the point and I know I'm newbish so it's easy to take constructive criticism. Thanks for the compliment and the advice. I hate to cut Fated Return, even though I know I should. I like the card but you're absolutely right so it's out. Zombie Goliath is toast. Liturgy of Blood I can shave, but the tri-color problem…that deck was build beginning with Nekusar, the Mindrazer. Really the only reason I have any red at all in it is for his benefit. Should I cut him or find a land that will allow me to cast him?

First off, I'm assuming these are only for casual play?

Second, what types of decks do you normally run up against?

Third, do you have any budget or format restrictions you would like suggestions to follow?

1. Yes, casual play.
2. Mostly whatever my friends throw together. Mostly standard creature-heavy aggro type decks.
3. Not really. I don't want to get too expensive but would like to improve the situation as much as I can so any suggestions are welcome.

I was trying to build a zombie deck, found I had so many good/decent zombie cards I couldn't just make one. So now I have two zombie decks and too many cards in each of them. Any suggestions I can get on refining--or should I be combining?--the two of these I would appreciate.

ZomBomb - This deck has some fliers and seeks to power up the zombies on the battlefield and then settle the fracas with Grave Titan or Army of the Damned. Also, there are a few non-zombies in there because of Nim Deathmantle. I'm not sold on my selection of non-zombies to be converted into zombies, however.

Arisen - Instead of focusing on powering up and converting normal creatures into zombies, this deck focuses on returning creatures from the graveyard to hopefully overwhelm the opponent. Rise of the Dark Realms and (the only card these two decks share in common) Army of the Damned should finish off an opponent if we can get that far into the game.

I have no sideboard for either deck, so suggestions there are welcome as well. I will point out that I do embrace synergy, so the closer I can keep to the zombie theme the happier I'll be with any suggestions. Pilfered Plans and Psychic Strike don't really fit, but I felt like ZomBomb 1 needed them so I put them in anyway.

As you can probably tell, I am new to this game. I want to be a better deckbuilder. I suppose the only way I can do that is by asking for advice, so thanks in advance for your help.
