Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why these are so valuable?  I found the deck lists, and it seems like there are two $5 cards, and a bunch of otherwise useless stuff.  Am I missing something?

Honestly, I don't understand it myself except for the exceeding rarity. The packs I have are unopened and in near perfect condition. The starter comes with a bit more than just the cards.

Post on the Reddit trade thread on Monday, many more people will see that post that will see this one.

Thanks. I'll do that.

Is there little interest or am I asking too much? I originally bought 10, sold 2 to my LGS for $150 store credit, sold one to a friend for $70.

I've recently acquired 8 (5 left) of the Portal Three Kingdoms 2-Player Starter Decks in English and unopened (I was visiting Japan and stumbled upon a hole in the wall shop with some old sealed magic cards). I'd like to trade them for anything on my wishlist (I'm willing to trade down) but I'm setting the trade value at $65. I've seen them selling on Ebay for ~$70.

EDIT: As per a few requests, here are some pictures: Pictures

EDIT2: They're not moving as fast as I'd like so I'm moving the trade value down to $65.

As the title says, I'm trying to get rid of some of my bulk type rares. Any card in my tradelist that's listed at <$2.00 will be treated as half price. I'm particularly looking for Deathrite Shaman, Abrupt Decays and any shocks. Otherwise, my Wishlist has some duals, fetches, etc on it but also some cheapish EDH cards.

I'm primarily looking for EDH stuff. I'm also slowly progressing toward a White or White/Green Modern deck (hatebears). I have a number of Full Art Zen lands I can use to fill gaps in a trade.

I am satisfied. Thanks for the anecdotes fellas.

I'm going to play the devil's advocate here but what's preventing you from mapping a bunch of boxes and selling the remaining contents as the 9 packs from a Fat Pack? Have you done this before and are there people who can confirm as much (I see that you have a high rating)? I'd certainly be interested in buying some packs for drafting but I learned a while ago to buy packs unless they're in a sealed box.

I'm primarily looking for shock/fetch lands for EDH decks. Look at my profile to see my exact Tradelist and Wishlist.
