Thanks. Im not looking to spend any more money on cards atm, but maybe when Im more familiar with the game. and become more competitive I will. Also, for a mono-colored deck, what color should I use with the cards I already have? Out of the 5, which do I have the best cards to make a decent deck?

Yes, but are you talking about my cards, or friends' cards? With mine, I dont think I have the collection to make combo cards, nor do I necessarily want them. And Im not too familiar with my friends cards to pick up on their combos.

What do you mean by card combos?

Nothing too fancy. 2 color decks similar to mine, no themes, just good cards put in a deck. And Im still new to the game, so I dont know how good those decks are compared to anything else.

Yes. I purchased a collection, and I guess what I was trying to say that Im not trying to focus on a theme, just individual cards that do a lot of damage. Also, I just want a deck that will make me competitive against my friends, not play in tournaments.

This is what I have right now http://deckbox.org/sets/193308
This is all of my cards http://deckbox.org/sets/192929
Also, Im not really sure what kind of theme I want. I would prefer a deck that does a lot of damage and gets good monsters out quickly. Color doesn't matter.

I am new to Magic, and have close to 1000 cards. I have built a red/black deck, but i would really appreciate it if someone could help me build the best deck possible with all of my cards. Thanks
