I have
2 sacred foundry
1 stomping ground
1 watery grave
1 steam vents

FNM 4-1 w/ Mono-red "Control"

Here is the deck I used http://deckbox.org/sets/440704

Match 1: Lost 0-2 against Green/Red mana ramp into Kalonian Hydra (with Scavenging Ooze). Game I had to mulligan to 5, the guy started with 2 Hydras in hand. I took care of the first one, not the second one. Game 2 I got killed by other creatures, didn't draw enough removal (I had a blasphemous act but I was 1 mana short).

Match 2: Won 2-1 against Jund midrange (Thragtusk Scavenging Ooze and Olivia). Lost game one, even with a Burning Earth in play. Game 2 I was able to keep the board clean, and Pithing needle Olivia (even though she didn't show up). I ran out of burning spells, my opponet put on some pressure and i Bonfired of the Damed to clear the board, locked in 2 Burning Earth and the opponent couldn't do much. Game 3 I kept the board decently clean and I went in with Thundermaw Hellkite.

Match 3: Red Green Aggro. I don't remember the score exactly. But Mindsparker and Young Pyromancer did a great job.

Match 4: I don't remember what I played against, but it was somewhat aggro and 2 colors because I remember siding out Burning Earth and Gost Quarter. Also in this match Mindsparker and Young Pyromancer did what expected.

Match 5: Won 2-0 against Boros ?. I don't really know what Boros deck it was, my opponent had really bad hands, mulligan to 4-5

Deck analysis:
The deck is fun to play but inconsistent: if you draw the right cards or somewhat close to the ones you need it's good, if you don't you are basically screwed.
I think there might be too much land.

The deck performed way better than expected, I didn't expect to win a single game. I will definetly run this deck at least once more before Theros comes out. I might change up a few cards.

This is a almost budget Red Deck Controls (and maybe Wins). All the expensive cards I own them already, I'm missing few of the cheap cards.
Bonfire of the Damned is pretty good in this deck, but I am not willing to spend $50 on cards that I will use for few FNM.
This is a fun deck for casual FNM. I'm not planning to win FNM, but few games every now and then.
I would like some sideboard suggestions and which cards to cut, so it can have a small chance to win few games.
Thanks!

Card List
4 Encroaching Wastes
20 Mountain
4 Pillar of Flame
4 Shock
2 Mizzium Mortars
2 Ratchet Bomb
4 Searing Spear
2 Skullcrack
4 Boros Reckoner
4 Chandra's Phoenix
2 Flames of the Firebrand
1 Staff of the Flame Magus
2 Burning Earth
4 Chandra's Outrage
2 Chandra, Pyromaster
2 Thundermaw Hellkite
2 Blasphemous Act

Sideboard:

2 Electrickery
2 Mizzium Mortars
2 Skullcrack
4 Mindsparker
2 Burning Earth
2 Wild Ricochet
1 Blasphemous Act

Strategy:
- Use Instants and sorceries to keep the board clean and prevent attacks while building up mana and steadily decrease opponent life for winning conditions.

Winning conditions:
- Blasphemous act with Reckoners on the field (with Skullcrack in response to any prevent damage)
- Thundermaw and Chandra's Phoenix flying in for damage
- Burn

This would be really really awesome to have!

Hello,
I just wanted to see what cards do you think could be a nice addition to a RDW with the release of M14.

I am considering to run/try the following cards:
Young Pyromancer - 1R - 2/1
Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, put a 1/1 red Elemental creature token onto the battlefield.
This might be good to create several blockers and, until rotation, have a lot of damage with an Hellrider.

Chandra's Phoenix - 1RR - 2/2
Flying
Haste
Whenever an opponent is dealt damage by a rest instant or sorcery spell you control or by a red planewswalker you control, return Chandra's phoenix from your graveyard to your hand.

It's a 2/2 with Flying and Haste, and also it can get back to your hand with some burn spells. I might think to run 3 or 4 of those in a RDW.

Burning Earth - 3R -Enchantment
Whenever a player taps a nonbasic land for mana, Burning Earth deals 1 damage to that player.
I see this card as a 1 of in main deck and 1 of in sideboard, especially playing against 2-3 color decks (that are more popular than monocolor). 3 color decks have basically no basic lands in the deck, and this enchantment can really hurt them.

Awaken the Ancient - 1RRR - Enchantment - Aura
Enchant Mountain
Enchant Mountain is a 7/7 red Giant creature with haste. It's still a land.

a 7/7 creature with haste for 5 (4+enchanted mountain) it's pretty good, especially with bigger creatures match up. I would see running 1 or 2 in total.

All this card are at the top of the mana curve, but they might be really good utility cards.

No worries smile

Also, the split cards from Dragon's Maze are not recognized

I would like to have with multiple languages, since I get several booster packs for Japanese and German.

I've tried out the app, and Mountain Yeti was recognized as Mountain. Also I had to stay perfectly still for few seconds before it picked up the card name.

It would be nice if it could recognize the version of the card, I have few cards that I don't know if they are alpha, beta, revised and such. Also it would be nice to have the "add" to add any count of the cards, because scanning for 10 times the same card can get laborious.

Also I have noticed that it has some issues recognizing old sets fonts and white text

I really like to look up for prices and the ability to sum them up, easy when trading.

I think I will use this app frequently. Good job!

Here are few suggestions:
Red
Goblin Guide (probably the best goblin)
Legion Loyalist
Mogg War Marshal
Goblin Bushwhacker
R/B
Spike Jester

But I'm still a newbie to MtG.

I would put few Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker in there.
They are a bit slow though, and also I've never built a Mill Deck, building one at the moment, but not for Standard, just casual.

I would love to have some custom goblin tokens smile

I'm interested in this as well smile
I would like to be able to access deck lists, inventories, cards, and other functionalities.

Thanks for you suggestions, they are really valuable. I will try to see what to do.
I really like the Dynacharge idea.

Exile means "leaves the battlefield" it doesn't mean "Dies".
From http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=393421: "dies" means "put into a graveyard from the battlefield"
So the creature doesn't die, it just leaves the battlefield.
The ability "When Geralf's Mindcrusher enters the battlefield, target player puts the top five cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard." is triggered again though.

This is my understanding, I'm a noob as well, been playing for like 2 months now.

Thanks for your suggestions, I will keep them in mind.

This is a work in progress, I am not planning to build it soon or buy the cards for now (but maybe trade for them). I would like some suggestions also as Sideboarding)

The plan is to get a Modern deck in the future to participate in Modern events.

The goal is to build a Goblin deck that can be competitive and not too expensive.

http://deckbox.org/sets/410502 (I have 9 too many cards in the main deck, too many 1 drops)

After few tests and considering the casual settings I removed all the lightning bolts and one Krenko.
This is the final build

Feedback is always appreciated. Thanks

I'm thinking to go more towards the "fun" side than the competitive.
I removed some of the x4 to x3 and some of the x3 to x2, added 2 lands, removed Guttersnipes and Skinbrand Goblins.

I am left with 65 cards. What should I cut now? smile
Thanks

Thanks.
I think with Empty The Warrens as a decent storm, with a lot of 1/2 drops in turn 6/7 if the game is kind of stalled.
I agree about Guttersnipe and Skinbrand Goblin.
I am not super sure about removing Tar Pitcher and Warren Pilferers, those are nice cards, but I agree they are expensive.
I was considering running more lands as well, but it's hard to cut Goblins sad

Hello,
Here is a casual goblin deck that I'm trying to build.
The goal is to have as many goblin as possible when the Voracious Dragon comes in play and devour for the win. I have only one Voracious Dragon, so I do not plan on relying on that strategy for winning.
http://deckbox.org/sets/409140

At the moment I have 74 cards, I would like to go to the 60 cards, any suggestion on what to cut? Since It's casual I am not planning on buying any cards.

My other goblins are here: http://deckbox.org/sets/376189?f=47R29ibGlu

Thank you!

Hello,
This is my first attempt to an EDH deck, I'm still missing several "important" lands, and also the guild gates will have to disappear.
The commander is  Crosis, the Purger and the theme should be dragons, goblins & friends (friends because I don't own many cards to have other goblins, dragons).

I also have few cards that I could put in there but at the moment are in my standard deck.

http://deckbox.org/sets/397933

I would like some feed back on which cards to cut and which cards to add/substitute without paying too much for them.

Thanks!

That sounds like a nice idea, maybe to run it also in EDH, even though is really unlikely to hit the combo
