For your manabase, isn't a good idea to have plains instead of Blossoming Sands or at least 2 forests and 2 plains? so you could have a turn 1 Herald of Anafenza and turn 2 Fleecemane Lion?

Other than that, sweet blueprint. I am looking forward to build an Abzan deck as well.

This is an idea that I've been implementing and tried out for a couple of times on the modern games around here. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. It feels like the deck is missing something. Although I am not sure if that's the time to give up on it and build something else on the top 8 or 16 modern decks, the BW Tokens it would be my definitive try for the format but I don't want to give up on that yet, so...

I didn't want to run with the classic mono-black discard because I had the impression (specially with Blightning, Rakdos's Return and the Rakdos Charm) it would be stronger, with bolt too, of course. Sire of Insanity seems to fit in there but I am not sure, and a 6cmc for modern is pretty much unplayable. Waste Not is also a must, which it will be there in the future.

That being said, I would really appreciate a veteran set of eyes to take a look and help me to improve it.

I know these decks are pretty straightforward, but even so I am trying to build one as effective as it can be. So if anyone has any suggestions or comments, I would really appreciate.
