I haven't read these in detail yet as I am at work, I will when I get home, I just wanted to thank you both for the in depth analysis.
Also I must have mixed up my islands and plains in the deckbox list because my lands weren't THAT broken when I played haha.

Here's the deck: http://deckbox.org/sets/657959 The sideboard is the other cards I pulled. (the guy to my right pulled the Spear out just to spite me I think.. he was gonna go white after pulling it but ended up not doing it)
I've become addicted to (the idea of) drafting, but I keep getting stomped by a huge margin. This is actually only my second draft, but I thought after the research I did that I would do better but I still lost the first two games.
I was confident in my picks.. I mean I thought I had some decent cheap-to-cast cards and useful enchantments but it was completely out of it's league. In hindsight, I should have put maybe two or three higher cost cards in the mix because near mid game I was still dropping 2-3 cast cards which were nearly worthless.
What other fundamental things should I keep in mind for Friday?

edit: Clearly, Ephara's Enlightenment should have been in my deck. I don't know how that slipped into the sideboard.
