Hey all!

This community seems a little less active than in the past and I don't know if any of the same users are still here. If you are, awesome and good for you. If you're new, welcome to Deckbox! For the oldies (and people who check post histories), there is news to share. I did propose again, she still liked the ring, and we got married last year. Happy ending!

That leads us to this sale. It will be time to start buying diapers soon, and while many of the cards I have left are now worth less than toilet paper (thanks COVID!) there are still some classics kicking around. If you see something you like in my inventory but find a better price elsewhere, let me know and I'll be happy to work with you. Even if you can't find a better price elsewhere, hit me up to see what we can bundle. I'm happy to stuff your packages with low-value cards to make deals.

You guys have excellent taste and managed to gut all my EDH decks in the last rounds, so all that's keeping me in the hobby is sorting cards. That's fun and all (my shrink says this is not yet cause for concern wink) but best used when sorting for a purpose, such as pulling your orders. Orders will be packaged with deckboxes and whatever other MtG paraphernalia I have lying around. Give me a minute to pull cards before you pay just to make sure they're all still here. For example, I had the damndest time finding Counterspells last time I built a deck. Thanks for looking!

Hey all!

First off I would like to thank everyone who supported my romantic aspirations by purchasing cards over the last year. If you're looking for a happy ending to that story I'm sorry to disappoint - things didn't work out quite as planned. However, the funds are safely tucked away for the second (and final) attempt later this year.

In the meantime I still have a bunch of cards to get rid of. You guys have excellent taste and managed to gut all my favorite EDH decks in the last sale, so now there's absolutely nothing keeping me in the hobby. Orders will be packaged with deckboxes and whatever other MtG paraphernalia I have lying around. Happy hunting! cool

I have priced my most treasured cards - the dual lands. Scans can be found here, and I'm happy to take more pictures if there is a card you would like to study up close.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me make this reality. We have officially hit the tipping point where taking the remnants of the collection to a FLGS will meet the original goal. Any sales from here on out will only help make everything shinier. I'll keep the sale going through the rest of February to make sure as many cards as possible go to real players. Most cards are now priced at a 27% discount from Deckbox's market price.

Now that I have a bit of feedback on the website I think it's time to spread the word of my sale. I used to play Magic heavily through college, but I've come to realize that the cards have just been sitting there in their boxes for the past couple of years. They were getting no love at all. At this same time I came to realize that I need to start preparing for the next step in my life. Cue my obvious epiphany.

I am investing (the value of) the hobby I used to love into the girl I love. My goal is to completely finance the engagement ring off of selling bits and pieces of my gaming past through various marketplaces.

The Deckbox pricing seems to occasionally way undervalue cards. I will honor the listed price unless it goes insane and lists my dual lands at 8 cents again. So feel free to go digging! Some deals that people have gotten so far:

Cards are shipped every weekend at the least. USPS First Class shipping is in proper top loader packaging within bubble envelopes and fully trackable within the US. International orders are welcome as well - open a discussion on your order and I will find the exact shipping rate for your package and country!
