I'm looking to trade one of my Revised Volcanic Islands for a Revised Tundra.

I realize that the VI value isn't quite Tundra yet, but it has gone up about $30 since AVR released and is still rising. They should be equal within a month.

And as another guy posted, I've got an Italian Karakas I'm looking to trade for an English one also.

Be careful on the duals, some of the prices are incorrectly inflated. Go look at Plateau, there's one listed for $1,000+. I looked up Tunda and someone has one listed at $700+.

This.

Deckbox is no longer a trusted source for value. I just bought a NM revised badlands for $31 last week from SCG and a SP tundra on ebay for $72. These "$100+" prices are not true and are being falsely inflated by a few vendors who are gaming the TCG pricing structure to raise the mean value.

I don't think that is the actual reason, I'm pretty sure its a result of TCGPlayer accidentally averaging some number of alpha, beta, unlimited, and revised prices together to create the price. It seems all revised cards are inflated.

Well it doesn't actually seem to be TCGPlayer's fault. Maybe deckbox now averages the TCGPlayer prices for all possible printings of a card...

Sebi posted yesterday saying that it was the TCG Player API that was returning the incorrect values.

sebi wrote:We've looked at this issue and indeed many things are off, the tcgplayer.com API is returning off values . We've contacted them for more information, waiting for a reply.

Sorry for the temporary inaccuracies.

I usually cross reference with a site like SCG of Channel Fireball. They're not going to be leaving money on the table by leaving prices too low. If you see them spike the price on their sites then you know it's on.

Star City Games has them at the following:

Volcanic Island M/Nm - $120 and SP - $100

Tundra M/NM - $110

It looks like Volcanic is actually more than Tundra right now.

Interesting. I guess UW is falling out of favor? Canadian Threshold has been doing well lately which runs both Tropical and Volcanic Islands. I got my Volcanic Islands for about $70 though mine are clearly MP to HP though:(
