I think niv-mizzet the firemind can have a huge impact in that deck.
I play nekusar myself and she's always a game changer when she comes out. Check mine out if you want so e ideas. The deck kicks ass but its nit necessarily a triditional nekusar deck.

Teferi's Puzzle Box might find a nice place in this deck, too.

I do enjoy abusing Teferi's Puzzle Box in this kind of deck.

I'll say seems less like a Nekusar deck and more like the mother Grixis control

Exactly. Although most cards synergize very well with Nekusar, I feel that a great commander deck has to be a great deck first. With or without your commander. I see too many commander decks, especially Nekusar, focus too strongly on their commander. When that commander gets tucked or hit with a darksteel mutation, its game over. Traditional Nekusar decks seem to have very little power and a lot of assistance for everyone at the table. Without a huge amount of control you'll end up pinging them as long as they let you and you'll put enough cards into their hands to stampede all over you. Grixis has some of the best control in the game and you should focus on finding other ways to make the cards they draw work for YOU.

That is why I run what I call "little Nekusars" like Kederekt Parasite , Fate Unraveler , and Psychosis Crawler also means i can win turn 5 or 6

I focused my Nekusar deck on having as many painful effects as possible, while controlling the board with bounce and sweepers- so I run as few creatures as possible. The ones that I do run will either provide a Nekusar-like effect or have some immediate value. I don't like the cards that just make everyone draw without any downside or you are just helping them too much. Having counterspell back up is also nice.

Still have some tuning to do, but this is what I have so far.

I've always found Notion Thief hurts you more than helps you with Nekusar it stops them from getting a card overflow and over drawing
