Okay, so first of all, I don't know if this would be the right place to put this, so forgive me if it isn't.

Anyway, I was looking at some jund decks in the modern format and I noticed that they all have Tarmogoyf in them. I want to build said deck, but so I don't murder my wallet or my tradelist, I want to leave out the goyf. Although I have been having second thoughts about that since that seems to be the basis of jund in modern. I just need help for if it is needed or not.

Deck Building is probably the best place for this.

Tasigur, the Golden Fang can replace Tarmogoyf to some degree. Some downsides of this are that you won't likely be able to play Tasigur as early and you can only run two or three. The upside is that it's harder to remove and his ability could be relevant.
