I have a friend who has asked me to trade his Italian Moat. He values it at $250 and has asked me to pursue a trade that would include Tarmogoyf or any of the Blue Dual lands. His order of priorities is Tarmogoyf>Underground Sea>Volcanic Island> Tundra/Tropical Island.

I may potentially be interested but would definitely value it lower - around $120-$150 based on TCGplayer and Ebay.

If he were selling it, I would be more inclined to take your side, but he is trading it. Trade value frequently has a higher ask than sell value does. Either way, his ask is firm.

So he values it asymmetrically? Because goyf, using that system, would still be more valuable afaik.

$250 is what a NM ITALIAN Moat sells for on Starcity, whereas every edition of Tarmogoyf in NM condition is $200 or less. If you want to buy a Moat from Ebay, feel free to do so. I am only doing what I am authorized to do by my friend. It isn't unreasonable for him to value it for trade at this price. If you think that it is, you are welcome to that opinion but I will keep trying to see if I can accomplish this task for my friend.
