I don't know what I did, or why I earned the good karma, but I got a call today from a friend at a local shop that he had a box for me at $400. This may have been my best box ever:



Deckbox / MtGGoldgish says the 6/7/25 price is $3.2k!!!

All of the foils (include Cloud) are for trade. I'm entering non-foil wants now. If you specifically want something and are opening stuff later this week let me know and I'll try to hold if possible.

I've opened 2 boxes thus far, and still haven't hit my two chases (Sad face), so FTR, anyone pulls those cards, you get priority.
No chocobos (Though a friend of mine pulled a neon yellow, she wasn't willing to part with it)
I'll finish adding the rest of those boxes today; 3rd box will be in and uploaded tomorrow.

Got my FF pulls listed now, sans commons and uncommons that aren't FCA!

Not much great, but my 3 Collectpr Boosters got me a foil Emperor, Hell Tyrant.

All pulls posted, and wishlist updated.
I did get the majority of my $$ back in prerelease pricing, which is nice - including a foil yellow chocobo (Only available for trade for Terra).

It seems Waltz is going to be hard to find as Extended foil, TCG has 0 listings as of a bit ago.

Appreciate that! I did pull a nonfoil Waltz in extended art, but I've yet to see a foil in person - and I watched a total of 5 boxes opened in person.

Im pretty sure that's because it will only be found in Bundles. I found out during my pre release that (as of right now) that the 2 random Extended art Legendary Creatures you get in bundles are the only way to get them in foil.

That's what I was told by someone who is actively trying to get EA Foils from the set that aren't the surge or alt versions of the Legendaries. It's similar to what they did with Streets of the New Capenna Foil Promo packs, where that was the only place you could get foil versions of SNC Commander deck cards (Like Currency Converter or Agent's toolkit)

You might luck out, and it might not be "too" affected by price since he is only an uncommon. If you were looking for Cloud or Seph, that might be another story haha

Outside of Commander cards, extended art foils don’t exist for any card, afaik.

Which card number you looking for? LGS near me has Foil Clive and Dion versions that have the FF number in the background. Not sure what that treatment is called but they are borderless lol

I can confirm EA art foils of NON Commander cards do exist but only in the Bundles. I bought one and got a Foil EA Gatta and Luzza (Commander) and Freya Crescent (Main FF set)

That’s absolutely disgusting. Players don’t typically crack a bajillion bundles in search of cards. It’s especially egregious considering bundles are limited print.

Speaking of disgusting, did anyone else’s uncommon foils turn out like this:

What’s weird is that it only happened with the last 3rd of the red cards, all the green, all the gold, and the first 3rd of the artifacts. The rest of the colors were just fine.

If anyone opened good copies of uncommons from those colors they don’t want, please hit me up. I’ll happily buy them. Hell, I’ll trade two scratched for one good lol.

They are not. I just grabbed the Terra one for some of the flavor reprints I wanted in those foils.

Updated my tradelist to include a couple of my higher value cards (Expeditions, masterpieces, etc.) and still desperately seeking Terra, if anyone's come across one.
