There are lots of good resources on the fundamentals of building Magic decks. I've seen a number of people post asking for help on their first Magic deck, and there are a lot of resources out there. Does anyone want to help collect good articles going over the basics of deck building?

I'm a pretty new player, and would like to (if possible) resurrect this thread to gain some insight into deckbuilding in 2016. The previously posted links to wizards.com no longer work, so if anyone has any pages to share, I'd love to learn more.

The Wizards links still work for me, though I do believe that they've had some good fundamentals articles since then that would be worth adding here.
