Trying to make/complete a Sphinx-themed EDH deck. Check out my wishlist and set up something if you have pieces. If it's mail I prefer to get a significant chunk of my wants (especially all the <$1 rares).

As a sidenote, as much as I am totally willing to trade my Jace to help complete this set, he isn't an option for bulk $1 rares. I'll happily trade him for any trade including either of the Tezzeret plainswalkers or the Concecrated Sphinx.

What's shipping like to Canada in terms of cost? I have several of the sphinxes you want but don't know if the shipping will be worth it - anyone have experience?

It's been a while, but I used to send a lot of Heroscape stuff to Canada using the USPS. Costs were not too bad. You (both parties, actually) need to be aware that there often seem to be significant delays in getting mail from the US delivered in Canada. I remember some parcels taking more than four weeks. I'm not sure where the slowdown begins--whether customs or elsewhere--but patience is recommended for both parties.

There is a big difference between big boxes and something like a bubble mailer. I have done a few trades with Canadians and it hasn't been a problem at all, besides not being able to get delivery confirmation. Even the customs form is not a big deal, you just say what's in there, give a value, and sign it.

Costs are very similar, maybe a buck or two but nothing significant. You have to go to a counter, you can't use the automatic postage center.

I do have some of the sphinx stuff you want, but you require US people to send first even though you have 0 feedback...

yea i've been meaning to take that out. i just picked it up off someone else's profile and thought it was some kind of necessary precaution. thinking about it rationally it makes no difference. if you have any feedback, i dont care the order of sending. i just prefer not having to send first to US because it means i have to wait a week longer to get my cards =P

you do have a nice list of stuff I'm looking for! i have a couple local trades going on that covers alot of it, but if they fall through before the end of teh weekend i'll set something up with you.

The only sphinx I have is an Argent Sphinx. I'll send a trade.

Jace has been traded for a big chunk already. I'll update what i've traded tomorrow by sending cards so you have a better loojk at m inventory. i have steel wind coming already from a generous reddit folk. I'm hoping to get Sharuum locally but if it has to chip within canada, so be it. but it won't be a big tradfde
