A friend brought up the idea to me, since he tends to prefer using his own spreadsheets to list out cards.

It would be awesome to be able to put your own text comments on cards, maybe something that's not fully displayed in the grid, but maybe something you could mouse over to see? The entry could have a small icon that notifies a comment is present without taking up too much space.
