Tokens: use Stroke/Negate/Erasure for the big swingy effects (March, Flourish, Loxodon, Immortal Sun).  Otherwise use Thief to grind them out.  They're soft to Thief as long as you can kill Shalai and not die.  Be wary of taking creatures with Thief due to Trostani.  NEVER EVER TAKE TROSTANI.

Djinn: use Duress/Erasure to make sure coast is clear for removal.  Game comes down to critical turns on whether you can kill their Curious guy or not.  Thief can block in a pinch.
