    I really dont like Quirion Dryad in this deck, even as a source of +1/1 counters she just doesnt give enough, especially when you have so many vanilla bodies allready.

    Why not cut essence backlast for Disciple of Bolas?

    and finally more ramp would go a long way, replace quirion dryad with wood elves?

    Weird deck, you don't run enough black to make splashing for it worth it. Cut the black and run Momir Vig as your commander. Trust me when is say that not only is it super fun, super good and quite cheap. Momir is one of the most popular commanders for good reason: his deck has extremely good balance of power, fun and price.

      surely for a deck focused on +1/+1 counters vorel would be better commander?
      Sure, momir is a card advantage engine but that's easy enough to compensate for in the maindeck.

          If i were hypothetically to admit that10% isn't enough to justify a colour I'd be really tempted to run primespeaker as commander

      I'm not playing this deck without corpsejack... Also some amazing black cards to be had here (so worth it for the one day I get descent into maddness with Damia and make everyone lose the game).
