Notes

This is a "el Cheapo" style- no special cards.

The gorillas by themselves were never really something that could win a game on their own -they always came out too slow and without much to help them out- easy targets, no backup.

What I've done here is make it a heavy Creature-Enchantment style to either do direct heavy damage as quick as possibler to minimize taking damage (use those "Lulls" or "Fogs"!) or to capitalize on the creature removal effects via "Venomous Fangs" (with "Arcane Teaching"!) or land removal of ypu take the damage ("Destructive Urge"). With big heavy gorillas coming out, most people will try and block. With the trample (and regenerate!) effects and Rampage (or Instants) the deck has some more impact.

Dropping an "Ancestral Mask" on one of the gorillas mid-game changes everything quick- especially with a "Tangle" in hand or a "Gorilla War Cry" -on a venomous fanged/destructive urged regenerating beast!

I've got the Wild Growths and Fertile Grounds in there mixed with the Fogs and Tangles (and Respite/Lull?) to speed up the mana, but it's still too slow -it's weak vs. fast mono weenie decks and a single tranquility destroys the whole thing.

I've debated adding a few specialized mana and some counterspells. It's got a huge sideboard as I tinker with it. Adding direct red damage or land destruction changes the theme- why have the gorillas there at all? Same with if we add in blue or black... there's great cards, but then why have the gorillas there at all... Ugh.

Making these gorilla's a threat across the board was always a challenge- and it still is!
