black does give you a lot of awesome sorceries to play with, however the "until end of turn" and "noncreature" make Narset sooo much better, not to mention hexproof. No evasion though
It's not very hard to give it evasion in these colors, and the hexproof means it's really hard to deal with, which gets rid of one of Jeleva's biggest problems.

yeah, this. the end of turn part also makes it much better to hit counterspells than with jeleva.
can you cast non-instants during combat with narset?

Then that's the only real advantage of Jeleva I guess (other than evasion), you can do some cool stuff with sorceries during combat
