I have had a trade dispute opened against another trader, who is almost positively a scammer but I will not name in this post. The deadline for him to respond has passed and am I going to get an answer from someone in the trade dispute or how does that work? I sent a message in the dispute again after his deadline was passed. I'm just wondering what happens next and how to resolve the issue.

You have to check your messages. You should be able to see an open trade dispute.

On your profile, left menu, there is an entry "Messages".
