Most likely because you sent too many emails in a short period of time, so the system automatically detected you as a spammer.

Thanks! I had created a forum, and I wasn't sure how to invite members at that point. So I was sending messages to people that I thought would be interested. Now I do a lot of trading and I need to talk to potential traders.
