Hi,

My wishlist has been updated to need a bunch of smaller stuff.  I'm not looking to super trade down, but I am willing to make things work.

Feel free to start up trades with me.

Thanks for your post - whether or not others found it valuable, I always find these types of posts valuable.

I vote you go through with the mail fraud report!  However, if it's < $5, I doubt you put tracking on it. sad

I'm interested in your Foil Thalia.  Let me know what you would want.

Hi all,

Still trying to get rid of my Thundermaw Hellkites.  Also got Bonfires + tons more for trade!

I am looking for non-blue Zendikar Fetchlands and Noble Hierarchs primarily, but am willing to make anything work.

Thanks!

Starting a trade.

I have two foil Geists - but I only see things in your inventory and not tradelist that I would be interested in.  Would you be willing to trade out of there?

Hey,

I'm trying to dump off my two Thundermaw Hellkites.  I'm looking for Hierarchs/Snapcasters/Fetchlands and more.

Please let me know if you're interested!

Thanks!

Which ones do you still need?  I can start another trade with you.

Okay, that's fine.  I don't think I'd give up much value at all on Fetches for Duals though, considering fetches do nothing except go up as well.

What kind of value are you trying to gain here?  I have some of the bigger ticket Legacy/Modern staples on your list and I don't know if I would want to give them up for that much value gain on your half.

I dunno, I win lots of drafts and just keep drafting to finish sets.

Edit:  I've probably spent about $150 total since AVR came out and I have 3 sets done (the 3rd one not redeemed yet, but complete) in addition to having at least $30 or so in tix/product I can still play with.

Yeah, I'm offering $7 for a reason - since most stores only offer $3 / 1k if you bring it on site to them.

Yeah, maybe.  It's also $15 or so for shipping it seems, so more around $165.

Yep, I did.

And yes, I would go near the eBay average for cash - but are they factory sealed?  I often see sets on eBay that are opened and possibly not Mint/Factory Sealed.

But yeah, I would say SCG is overpriced, considering TCGmid prices, which is what I was posting.

It seems like the TCGplayer average (what this site uses) would put the rares and mythics at $216.

I would obviously do less in cash, but would want pretty close in trade.

Cards or cash work.  I don't know what "other physical goods" really means.

Hey all.  I got in the mail today my two factory sealed sets of AVR.  I have put the rares in my deckbox tradelist for now, but I would like to see if there is any interest in the sealed complete sets.

Yes, this includes all the big cards: Bonfire, Tamiyo, Cavern, Entreat, etc.

No, what you should do is file for mail fraud because that is what this is.

If you have proof you shipped the card, file mail fraud immediately.

Specifically, if you read Title 18, Section 1341 of the US Code you can see that those found guilty of mail fraud can be fined and sent to jail for up to 5 years.

There is an online form for mail fraud or you can go to your local post office and ask for help there.

This only works if you have proof of your trade (deckbox is proof) and proof that you shipped the card (tracking # works here).

Don't let scumbags like this get away.

I don't have proof though; I never used a tracking number. He can just claim that he never received the cards either.

Ugh, that's a shame.  This is why I almost only ship with delivery confirmation.

Sorry for your loss - hopefully it wasn't a huge one.

God damnit... I was trading a card for one of my friends to this same person. The first time I've had a bad trade too. I was hoping that he just was away for a while, which is why he never updated the trade. I noticed that he had a few trade going on, some of which had the other people receiving the cards. I didn't really think about having him send first because of this. Now I have to either pay my friend back or try finding the cards he wanted.

To be fair, my LGS doesn't even sell singles.

But yeah, NullParameter is right - my old shop didn't sell CU either.

Well, I feel like I've been having pretty good success here.  These trades have been making both parties pretty happy as far as I know since people can get rid of some of their clutter for lots of different things.

I feel this is a two way service for both me (and my friends) and the people I'm trading with.

Also, my LGS doesn't sell commons/uncommons, so that doesn't help my friends.

A bunch of my friends started playing recently and want lots of cards, so I get them for them.

Starting a trade!

Okay, retaking bulk C/U if the offer is right.

Still looking for more rares.
