UL ones depend completely on condition, honestly.

Revised go for around 6

Agreed, sadly the value for value thing just doesn't work in some cases.

What I've done very successfully in the past is traded to get a playset of something standard that's of high value, sold it on eBay, and then used the proceeds to purchase whatever legacy thing that I wanted that wouldn't go in trade.

It's a pain, but it's a nice option.

But think of their well-being.  Why leave them sitting in a binder, alone, wanting companionship with nothing but their 3 other buddies.  Instead they could go to a loving home and have nearly 400 of their flock to keep them warm and content and happy.

THINK OF THE BIRDS MAN!

Sure, they are close in value right NOW, but in 6 months, what's that Jace then worth?  I can pretty much guarantee that the FoW will be at the same value or higher.

Spiky standard value != legacy staple value.

Ya'll are vultures, haha

Trying to finish off my playset of legacy staples and I have a spare Underground Sea to offer up if someone has a JTMS and a FoW for trade.

Let me know...

7 up-posts should tell you something...

Dude, your "entire" tradelist is all junk...

Lol, this is why I made the initial response...

You are just wanting to sell off just the Tradelist stuff?  Really?  I'd give you $5.00 for it.

I have the Captain...

foil on TCG is 12.99

trade posted as well

I have most of it, trade posted...

I wish you well in finding trades, but thinking you will get full value for crazy-high prices of newly released stuff for established older stuff on here is nearly impossible.

Patience and a lot of trading is one way to do it.

Just finding the right person who is willing to trade is a huge challenge sometimes.

I've slowly migrated standard era cards for modern, and then modern for legacy.  Most folks (hell even me included) are hesitant or flat out refuse to trade new for old due to price fluctuations in new cards.

So I'm not peeved at anyone in particular, but a couple of things keep rearing their head and just need to stop (or at least I think they do).  I do a hell of a lot of trading on here (I think I'm one of the most, if not the most active trader in terms of complete trades) and this is just things that I see.

  • If you have something on your tradelist don't have a set of arcane crazy conditions of what you'll trade it for.  Sure, trading legacy for legacy and standard for standard everyone understands, but if you REALLY have no intention of trading the damn card, take it off your list.

  • The system uses tcgplayer for pricing, for the most part everyone is fine with it, if you want to use something else, well, use tcgplayer.  I'm not about to do manual math to figure out a trade with 40 cards on it.

  • If you want a high-value card, don't just have a bunch of random shit in your tradelist, you are more than likely going to find very few pople willing to trade.

  • RESPOND to trade offers with SOMETHING instead of just canceling them, if you don't say SOMETHING how do we know what to change or tweak?

Sure what I'm asking people to do is think about what they are doing.  Yes it's cardboard, and quite valuable cardboard, but in the end run, it's just a game people...trade nicely and don't be douchey.

put in a trade of what I'm interested in, let me know a price
