Bump.

I'm looking to assemble 4C Hoogland Loam and need a few of the harder to find pieces. I'm also willing to trade out of my inventory for the Duals.

Want:

  • 1x Taiga

  • 3x Mox Diamond

  • 1x Dark Confidant

Inventory Highlights:

  • 1x Italian Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale

  • 1x Chains of Mephistopheles

  • 1x Scrubland

  • 1x Badlands

  • 2x Voice of Resurgence

  • 2x Scalding Tarn

  • 1x Arsenal Command Tower

  • 1x Foil Gisela

  • 2x Foil Green Sun's Zenith

I'm interested in your Vault of Whispers. Send me a trade.

I've got a foil Liliana of the Veil if you're interested.

I would be interested in it. (Guess who plays Pox?)

Wasn't a big deal. They arrived for me today.

What is more important is that you learn a valuable lesson: Don't let other people ship your cards for you.

I wish it was worth my time to do so - I checked out your trade with him, and I'd be willing to bet you're having a much worse experience sad

I got in contact with him, got his number, talked to some of his RL friends, got his parents number and address, and he plans to correct the issue with me and everyone else. I'll keep you informed.

Thanks. I was worried I might have to do this myself. big_smile

I've got a number of slivers I don't have listed in my deckbox, but I used to play with a Foil Scourge Sliver Overlord as my general. If you're interested in anything of mine, shoot me a trade.

I'm just looking for some good offers (Wishlist/Cash) on these.
And maybe an Abyss as well.

Hey, I'm interested in your Thawing Glaciers, a Gauntlet of Power, and maybe your Arena Lands.

You should look at my stuff.

Are you interested in a Foil Cavern of Souls or a Foil Lili OTV?

I'm interested. You should look at my tradelist.

I value foils at regular card price.  Not a foil chaser, but will trade for the $13-$15 it's worth

So based on your two statements if it's YOUR foil, you value it as a foil, but everyone else can get bent if it's their foil.  Am I right?

I think he (or she) is allowed to do that. Something like foil is entirely dependent upon the person trading for it. If he doesnt think foils are better, why should he trade more for them? I have no problem trading at foil cards for more, but if someone doesnt care, they can value them at whatever theyd like.

Just as someone is able to value cards at whatever they want, people are also able to refuse whatever they want.
People often take offense to being lowballed, so I would not suggest offering regular card prices for their foil counterpart, regardless of your view on foils.
If a foil is the only version of a card you're able to obtain, you should probably get over the fact that it'll likely cost you more in trades, or move on to someone else who has a regular version of the card you're looking for.

If you can find a Bayou, I can put a Sneak Attack I wouldn't normally trade towards it.

Looking for a singleton Bayou to update my Legacy deck with.
Need a Foil Unhinged Plains to finish up my set of 1 each.

Some other things I'm also looking for:

  • 2 foil deathrite shamans

  • a foil Faithless Looting

  • an FNM Tidehollow Sculler

  • an FNM Cabal Therapy

  • an FNM Rancor

  • Foil Inquisitions of Kozilek

  • Foil Bloodghasts

  • a Recurring Nightmare

Check my inventory and send me a trade if you're interested.

If you can find a bayou, I've got a promo sneak attack and a flooded strand you might be interested in.

Probably about the same as an English one.

Most languages that aren't Asian or Cyrillic alphabets (with the exception of German) are worth the same, and occasionally a hair less since some people don't want to memorize a card they can't read.

It ultimately comes down to what people are willing to offer for it though. If you find someone who really likes foreign/italian cards, he'd probably give you a good offer for it.

Also have and want what's in my lists.

Not really.  The only time a misprint is usually worth more is if you can see the name of another card in it.  These are what brings in money. especially the miscut dragon in the bottom left.

That's not actually a dragon, it's an Avatar of Fury.

On a related note, I should probably take a closer look at a Mirror Entity I have that has some smeared text...

I've got a Foil Loam Lion if you're interested.

To me, this is a bit worrisome due to the following... Upon looking at Ichorclaw's profile there is absolutely NOTHING that jumps out at me as any sort of indicator of bad or even "iffy" trading history. All I see is "Feedback:+37 out of 38 completed mail trades" and the fact that he changed his status to read, "Family issues, no longer trading." I think this really illustrates that fact that we need to migrate towards a more detailed feedback system, one that's not just a simple top-level +/-1.

There should be ratings for how prompt someone is at sending out their cards, with a 5-star being the same/next day and a 1-star being a week later or... never.
There should be ratings for packaging, with a 5-star being in top-loaders in a bubble mailer and a 1-star being in a zip lock bag inside a regular envelop.
There should be ratings for communication, with 5-stars as all pertinent info provided and questions answered and 1-star being that you agreed on a trade then didn't hear from the guy again for 2-weeks.

These are the things I want to know when potentially trading with someone.

Your first and third idea is good but the second isn't because for small trades it isn't worthwhile to be sending in bubble mailers due to the high costs of it.

I guess it would be implied that a good rating would be "Good packaging fitting of the scale of the trade" while a poor rating would be "Sending Workshops in a Ziploc Bag".

I (along with two other users) appear to be in a similar situation involving user AzoriusGuildmage. I've sent my cards to the guy months ago. I never received my cards and he hasn't been on since Oct. 12th.

Is there a particular way to get Sebi (or someone) to look into these issues?

Have a foil Aristocrat. Snapcaster and a temple for it?

Sorry i don't value this foil that highly. If you want to make another offer, feel free. I could get two regular ones for that.

I'll give you two for that.
