I agree that this COULD be very nice and that in many situations it would be, but there is also potential for huge backfire. I've traded with plenty of people that had thousands of cards on their wistlist and tradelist. If this auto-fill feature had been implemented I would have to manually remove hundreds of cards on numerous different occasions. Again, I think it could be a good feature to have, but automatically adding ALL cards that match seems like a really bad way to implement it.

Maybe just a single button once you initiate a trade that would dump it all if you wanted it to then?

At this point I'm just brainstorming a really simple way to add this feature in lieu of some complex UI that would take time and effort to put together (when I'm sure the team has higher priorities at this point)

A button to auto-fill all matches would probably work.

I upgraded my personal paypal account to a business account about a month ago without having to provide any legal documentation of any sort. I'm in the US so maybe that's the difference.

And for these core and expert set releases post 7th edition, any card can be either foil or non-foil?

Correct. All core and expert sets starting with 7th/Urza's Legacy have both regular and foil printings. All core and expert sets pre-7th/Urza's Legacy will be only regular.

Yep, that's a good place for now, I'm fixing both types of issues at the same time.

You keep changing your profile picture and it's messing with my brain! Twice in one week!

You are incorrect in both cases. Firstly Suture Priest is added as Game Day promo, not Media Insert. Secondly both of those cards have special versions:

http://www.magiclibrarities.net/134-rar … ml#card002
To give you some credit I'm pretty sure Suture Priest was just a foiled version that was given at Game Day events, but I don't have one to compare so, eh, lets trust other resources if all of them agree on something.

/edit
Sorry for repeating but my browser decided that there was no second page of that thread. hmm

Edit: Removed my sarcasm

I realize I missed the Cardz promo of Phyrexian Rager and have since found one and purchased it. As for the Suture Priest, does that even really count? It's literally the exact same as the ones from the set.

Nothing you said was incorrect. Aggregating non-foil and foil for printings that only have one of those is a perfectly viable solution and it's very possible that's what sebi will end up doing. It sounded to me like he was looking for quick and easy way to remove the nonexistent printing leaving only the correct one.

My question is about the promo sets mostly. Out of the other ones, I think only the From The Vault, Premium Deck Series and Commander's Arsenal are foil-only. Right?

I think all of the promo sets you just added as well as all of the dual decks and ftvs have the property that for each card there is only a foil or non-foil version...sometimes it may be different for different cards, like deckmasters and dual decks have a couple of cards foil and most non-foil, but all of the cards in those sets have one version.  Similarly for game day cards, some are foil some are non foil, but there is only 1 version for each card name.

Another way to look at it is that the only sets that have both non-foil and foil versions of a given card are core and expert set releases post 7th edition as well as modern masters

Sebi knows that some cards were printed only in foil and some were printed only non-foil. He was asking if anyone knew of an online database somewhere that he could just pull that information from to make it a bit faster, rather than setting the properties of each printing individually.

Bump

Suture Priest is shown as having a Media Insert printing, but I'm very sure it does not.

Edit:
As does Phyrexian Rager.

Sounds like you're teaching your sons well! smile

Drop down to 12-16 creatures. Glistener Elf, Blighted Agent, Ichorclaw Myr, Necropede in that priority order imo. And like Major said, more pump spells. You want to be able to win on turn 3 or 4. I'll second the inclusion of Mutagenic Growth, Groundswell, Livewire Lash, and Cathedral of War. Vines of Vastwood and Rancor might also be an option, though they are usually for the Mono Green version of infect. Also, Apostle's Blessing is a must for infect as you rely heavily on that one pumped creature to survive long enough to get it's damage through.

I think most sellers, myself included, simply ignore taxes. No, that is not a good idea, but until the federal government comes up with a way to enforce it people will continue to ignore it. Also, IIRC, sales tax only applies to sales made to a buyer within the same state as you. I'll see if I can find a reference for that.

Edit: I've been selling on TCG since they opened it to individuals and selling a small amount on ebay for a little while and have never filled out any tax forms nor done anything related to becoming a legitimate small business.

The problem is that is has scry and the "Serum" seems pretty Mirrodin specific. We just had a block with scry so they're not going to do it again anytime soon and we already had a Return to Mirrodon-esque block. Seems very likely that it will be printed in some satellite set.

I really like the addition of Resto Angel here. Flickering an Avalanche Riders or a Shriekmaw looks nuts.

So Serum Visions really needs a reprint. Journey Into Nyx is fully spoiled now and it's not on the list. I guess the next likely place would be in Conspiracy.

Thoughts?

Someone take these from me! I'd do $150.

Just wanna say 8-rack is a really good deck. I made it to top 8 at the very first GPT I ever went to which was only the second event I ever played the deck. Pod (need a Grafdigger's Cage and an Ensnaring Bridge to have a chance) and The Rock (so much permanent removal) are terrible machups so prepare for those. There isn't a whole lot it can do against Leyline of Sanctity either. Everything else was 2-0 for me.

Traded 2 Arid Mesa, 4 Griselbrand, and a bunch of smaller things adding up to about $80 value to my LGS for a foil MMA Sword of Fire and Ice. That's about a $170 loss. Hindsight =/

On the other side, looking back at my ebay purchase history for the last couple years is pretty funny (what I paid total, not each):

6 Scapeshift for $18
4 Mox Opal for $60
7 Regal Force for $22
4 Scion of Oona for $6
2 Volrath's Stronghold for $17
2 Sliver Queen for $40
3 Stifle for $39
3 Primeval Titan for $13
3 Rofellos for $30
Cabal Therapy for $3
4 Lightning Greaves for $5
4 Leyline of Sanctity for $28
4 Scalding Tarn for $145
Liliana of the Veil for $35
Idyllic Tutor for $5

Sure thing!

There are a number of sets that aren't imported onto Deckbox yet. For now I'd just leave the set blank.
