I stress the importance of making the inventory private and not viewable to everyone. Almost every trader I deal with asks for cards from my inventory and it's been real tedious telling everyone I only trade from my tradelist when it's written in my profile. There's no reason for it to be visible to everyone when we have tradelists. I wish this request will be seriously considered.

I'm interested in any dual lands but would be happy to look at your tradelist. Also, I'd be willing to add extra value when trading for non-standard cards.

Start a trade if you're interested. Thanks!

Having DC just keeps people honest, and gives some recourse if a trade goes bad to "save" your reputation.

This isn't necessarily true. Dishonest people will be dishonest regardless of whether or not you have delivery confirmation. For instance, the receiver can claim that he got your package but the most valuable cards are missing. DC does nothing for the sender in this situation. It's still your word against his.

This BTR is a good example: http://deckbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=6815

Both traders are in the United States. I know that DC was not acquired in this case (only insurance number) but it would not have helped the sender prove his side anyway.

All I'm saying is don't let dishonest people deter you from trading with Canadians. Obviously the choice is ultimately yours, regardless of logic, but there is a risk with every trade, not just international trades.

I use TCG prices for foils. Start a trade if you're interested. I'd be happy to look at your tradelist.

Thanks

I've been using Deckbox extensively for both cataloging my collection and for trading. This site is amazing for both purposes and I have a couple suggestions that might improve it.

[Inventory]

- Sort by quantity (coming with the next update)

- Collapsable rows for same cards of different editions to reduce the number of pages

- Edit Details window box: Have the name of the selected card in the window. I often enter cards while watching something and sometimes get distracted. When I look back at my computer and see the Edit Details box, I don't always remember which card it was that was selected.

- Card Condition icon: While the star icon looks nice, it's not always easy to see what condition it is. I usually have to mouse over the icon to double check the condition because sometimes my eyes deceive me. It might be more practical to have the actual letters of the condition (NM, SP, MP, HP).

- Foils: There needs to be specific pricing for foils. I know this issue is not easy to take care of but TCG now has an average price for foils so hopefully it can be integrated. I had a trader who was interested in over 200 foils and I had to add up the prices manually. Needless to say, it took a lot of work and a very long time.

- Inventory Privacy: Allow users the option of hiding their inventory. This does not include the tradelist or wishlist since those are still needed to do trades. Just the inventory. This request is an important one for me. I do not wish to trade out of my inventory and do not want to keep telling people that. It's written in my description but it does not seem to be very effective as I still get inquiries. There is no reason for others to see it.

[Trading]

- Removing cards from inventory/tradelist/wishlist: This step should be done when the trade is confirmed, not when the cards have been shipped. Right now, before shipping, cards in a confirmed trade are still available for others to select. This could get messy for people with a lot of trades going.

- Feedback left: Before the latest update, there was an icon letting you know whether or not you have left feedback for someone. Now when trades have been completed, if feedback has been left for me, I cannot tell from my side whether I still need to leave feedback for them. I have to click on each trade to make sure feedback has been left.

- Cancelling trades: After a trade has been confirmed, should cancelling be approved by both parties? Just something to consider. Seems a bit weird to have confirmed trades "disappear" into the completed section with nothing more than an email saying the trade was cancelled.

- Neutral feedback: I believe neutral feedback should be counted and shown in user profiles. If someone has 100% positive feedback and dozens of neutral feedback, you really have no idea until you sift through pages and pages of feedback to see if there were any issues with that trader. This can be misleading.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks again for an incredible site. Keep up the great work.

TCG prices are fine for valuing foils. Start up a trade if you're interested. I'd also be happy to look at your tradelist to see if we can work something out.

I have other foils that I'm hoping to get rid of too.

Thanks!

what do you value the foil seer at?

TCG prices are fine with me. So, $20.50 for the foil Seer.

Hi, I've updated my tradelist recently and am looking for anything on my wishlist. I'd also be happy to look at your tradelist. Feel free to start up a trade and we can work something out.

Notable cards I have:
Aurelia, the Warleader x2
Jace, Architect of Thought x4
Duskmantle Seer (Foil) x1

I also have lots of foils that I'm looking to get rid of.

Thanks

I often get offers for cards in my inventory when I only want to trade those in my tradelist. I state in my description that cards in my inventory are not for trade but it doesn't seem to be very effective. It's an unnecessary inconvenience for those of us who do not wish to trade out of our inventory. For those who DO, the option is already available for them to easily add all their cards to their tradelist. Having our inventory visible to everyone seems redundant.

Start a trade if you're interested and we'll work something out to make up the difference.

Notable cards in my tradelist:

Aurelia, the Warleader
Restoration Angel (Foil) - traded
Aurelia's Fury (Foil) SP
Jace, Architect of Thought
Garruk Relentless
Angel of Serenity
Duskmantle Seer (Foil)

Thanks!

The prices shown are not updating themselves properly. I mentioned this before when Jace, Memory Adept prices shot up but the prices shown on Deckbox did not reflect it. This was fixed at the time but it's happened again.

Please refer to Boros Reckoner: http://deckbox.org/mtg/Boros%20Reckoner

It's shown as an average value of $17.77 when it's actually $25.51 when you click on the link and go to TCG. I see one user in particular who is very good at picking these out and has been "tricking" people.

I strongly urge traders to click on the link to double check the value. This is not ideal but until Deckbox fixes this issue it's for your own benefit.
