You don't have anything in your inventory or in your tradelist.

I have a lot of cards from Revised through Mirage.  Would you be interested in those?

Just to be very clear. TCGplayer (My Company) did not say that we would be unwilling to work with Deckbox again.

No... your company "did not say" anything actually. Your company only made legal threats.

Let's not start a public dicussion here, I'm not fond of needless drama. I am available via email for discussion, as always.

Probably time to lock the thread Sebi.

I'm interested in either or both fetches, but don't have any Merfolk stuff.  I have a Griselbrand, 3x Geist of Saint Traft, a Teferi, a Chinese Sunken Ruins and all non-green Shocklands (RTR and GTC) if you'd be interested in those at all.

I can't imagine there isn't a better solution to monetizing the site than the market. I understand the need to monetize, but why would you think it would be successful if in the process you alienate a good portion of the user base you've been building for six years?

Hopefully you guys come to your senses and figure out a better solution.

Read the previous posts from the developers:

1.  no market feature = no funds = no deckbox new updates.  If you want the site to continue, you have to get through this growing pain.

2. The toothpaste is out of the tube.  Even if the market feature was eliminated, TCGplayer has blocked its API for future use.

3. This API problem was inevitable.

I thought this would be a good place to document each of the stores in our area and their FNM offerings.  I haven't been to all the places so please let me know if I have something wrong or fill in what's missing.

To start, I want to thank the Deckbox team for their development efforts. I work for a large software company out of the US, and understand and can relate to the immediate overreaction that most consumers have, regardless of how misguided, when hiccups occur.  The key point, whether anyone wants to admit it or not, is that the Deckbox team is providing us a free service, with an excellent ability to catalog, create, and peruse random deck ideas we create in our heads easily.  More so, they have not abandoned the site.  Most people/small person teams would give up after being legally "hammered" by a company like TCG, but they didn't.  They are continuing to work, and we, as their end users, should have a little faith in them.

We all at some point need to realize that a team of 3 members are going to have other responsibilities outside of developing a FREE site for all of the users to enjoy.  They do have bills, personal obligations, etc., that require attention, and I for one am in favor of giving them the time and breathing room to create a stable pricing solution.  They are correct, the Google ads would in no way provide a suitable income that could cover and justify the endless hours it must take to manage this site. Possibly having another job, plus spending hours to manage this site and STILL manage to live an enjoyable lifestyle? People are blind if they think that's possible for free.  If we take a look at whats been developed so far, and the ease of use, i think we should all look forward to the next iteration the team will provide! Perhaps they will bring an App developer online to provide us with a mobile based solution!

Congrats to the Deckbox team for what you have developed so far, and I for one, look forward to the changes and evolution to come!

I second this comment.  I am anxiously awaiting the properly-functioning site.

Although, this is the internet and I am an engineer, so I feel obligated to overreact, after-the-fact criticize the decisions of the deckbox team, and call them a bunch of foul words because they didn't do everything exactly the way that I would have.

Works great now.  Thanks!

It looks like you have a Temple of Silence.  What if you added white and used Orzhov Keyrune to do triple-duty: ramps you into Sanguine Bond a turn earlier, can be a good blocker, and its lifelink helps combo you off.

You could run some Vizkopa Guildmage to give you an alternate win.

You definately need some Duress and/or Sin Collector in the sideboard to protect your combo.

If you can get your hands on a Blood Baron, he'd really help you out.  I realize he's like $17 though.  Obzedat would be a (slightly) cheaper alternative.

If you're not going to add white, then I would at least drop the staffs and add a couple more removal spells (Hero's Downfall, Doom Blade, or Ultimate Price) and add Underworld Connections or Read the Bones to get some card advantage.

Good luck!

I'm having the same issue.

I'm also looking for Temple of Epiphany, Keranos, Steam Vents, and a Hero's Downfall.

I have a Garruk, Caller of Beasts, Teferi and some other stuff.

I just approved our 10th member!  Is there something special that I need to do to get a forum set up for the community?

The goal of the community is to discuss the various FNM offerings in the Metro-Detroit area, coordinate testing groups for tournaments in our area and to facilitate in-person trades.

That didn't take long.

It feels like you're trying to do too many things, even though the deck is supposed to be ridiculous.  I think Inspired requires too many cards to abuse it.  How did it go when you played it?

What if you removed the Inspired part and replaced it with more fatties to get for free with Unexpected Results and mana dorks so you can cast Results on turn 3?

-4 Arbiter of the Ideal
-2 Witch's Eye

+2 Giant Adephage, Worldspire Wurm or Tromokratis.
+4 Sylvan Caryatid (Manaweft Slivers aren't as good, but a much cheaper alternative)

Do you really need the Archetype of Endurance?  It seems meh and is so expensive.  What about something that doesn't require Unexpected Results to be good and puts pressure on your opponent?  Something like Polukranos or Aetherling or Arbor Colossus.

Curse of the Swine also seems like it wants to be in here.  It can get rid of Gods, Blood Baron, Desecration Demon and also targets for Dismiss into Dream.  That way you're not all-in on Zephyr Charge.

Updated OP again.  Still looking for stuffs.

Updated.

Okay, so what about the deck destroyed you?

- too fast?
- too big?
- too much card advantage from Domri/Garruk?
- too much trample?

You're a control deck, so what didn't you have answers for?
- Stormbreath dragon?  I imagine there isn't a card in your deck that can take him out.
- Planeswalkers?

I've found that RG monsters just stomps control generally, but you can stabilize if you can kill its planeswalkers and have an instant-speed answer for Stormbreath.

How many matches did you play?  Did you try side boarding?  What did you side board?

I have an extra Teferi, slight play.  I would like to get a Thoughtseize or a couple Hallowed Fountains as part of the deal, but almost anything on my wishlist would be cool too.

Start up a trade if you're interested.

Reid Duke built a Bant Control deck for GP Dallas (pre-BNG so no Kiora) that he called Prime Speaker Bant.  It looked pretty cool.  However, like all other Standard UWx builds, it's focused on Sphinx's Revelation.

Here's the deck tech for some ideas:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUkJFKnw_0I

I think it's tough to build a control deck in the current Standard configuration based around Sylvan Caryatid and Prophet of Kruphix because Supreme Verdict exists, but Prophet is really tough to play against.

Let us know what you end up doing!
