Price issues should go in this thread:

To avoid further confusion - are card categorization issues resulting in incorrect price assignment considered "price issues"?

Yep, that's a good place for now, I'm fixing both types of issues at the same time.

Fixed Black Lotus pricing.

Yep, we've thought about something along these lines. First implementation could be an option to set a "notification treshhold" for cards in your wishlist. Whenever one of them is posted for sale for less, you'd get an email about it. (Not sure about the specifics yet, just a thought).

Yep, sorry for overlooking this. Will fix for next release (possibly sunday).

My question is about the promo sets mostly. Out of the other ones, I think only the From The Vault, Premium Deck Series and Commander's Arsenal are foil-only. Right?

Do you guys know of a reliable, comprehensive source of information where we could see which cards have both a foil & normal printing in a certain edition. (or just foil, or just normal)?

The problem is there are no official edition icons for these sets sad

We have the card tooltips since the beginning, and they are not going away smile

I do want to add market price info on the card tooltip though, during this week.

Suture priest is listed as having a Game Day edition actually.

Phyrexian Rager is listed by magiccards.info as having a media printing: http://magiccards.info/mbp/en/14.html

From the trade window, people can still select cards that are NOT listed in tradelists (only in inventory). So, I'm still getting trade offers for cards that I do not wish to trade. Perhaps for the users who set their inventories to private, those cards should not be selectable for trade.

Very true. Will fix.

Fixed @ Hua Tuo.

rfioren, your issue as well, it was the same problem.

True, caching issue. Checking now.

Fixed all reported issues.

Foil Ponder is very high still though, that prices is correct on amazon, and tcgplayer also has very high prices for it, so it looks legit.

There are multiple cards that are only available as foil, and prices are off, because we do not yet have them marked as such in the database. Will be looking at these next.

There's an issue with the prices on cards with multiple editions.

I have a trade going for a duel-decks "Future Sight". The price for the duel decks one is correctly listed as $1.20 in the card database, but when I add it to a trade, it shows up as $3.58 (the price of the onslaught version). The version is specified as duel-decks, so the price should be $1.20. I've noticed this with other cards as well, including "Body Double".

Looking at this issue now.

Domri Rade: $27.33, TCG: $30.48                     ~$3
Stormbreath Dragon: $17.65, TCG: $19.79       ~$2
Spellskite: $16.00, TCG: $18.14                        ~$2
Sacred Foundry: $11.99, TCG: $13.99               ~$2
Abrupt Decay: $10.33, TCG: $9.31                    ~$1
Courser of Kruphix: $7.35, TCG: $8.55              ~$1

Although these price differences arent enormous, they do make a difference on the whole.
I am sure it's a factoring of actual value & sale value, as a lot of people try to sell lower to make quick profits...

On the over all, my collection is now about $200 +/-$100 less than what it was before the loss of TCG prices... however it's hard to say considering I had 20+ trades in process during the collapse.
Very close if not better to what it once was, excellent job to the Deckbox team and all of those who assisted them.

These differences will always remain. We do not use or will ever use tcgplayer prices again.

This is actually correct for the Portal Three kingdoms version.

Yep, as I responded to rfioren, the adding of the new promos has messed with our updating schedule & scripts.

I'm restarting it tomorrow and I'm going to closely investigate all recently reported misprices from this thread.

@terrafrost, moved your post from the announcement to this topic, to better keep track of price issues.

Will address these during the day tomorrow and come back to you (also valid for the previously mentioned ones in this thread).

Hello,

As most of you know, our card database has been based 100% on the information provided by Gatherer (the official Wizards db). But gatherer is not complete, sadly, and many promo printings were missing, along with other sets such as holiday specials.

http://deckbox.org/system/images/forum/3_1_ann/bunny.png

Happily though, the Easter Bunny has now added these missing sets to our database, so users can properly tag their cards. The old promo flag is still here, but we will phase it out in a future release as it is not necessary anymore.

Since the edition selection dropdowns were getting hard to manage with hundreds of editions, we've added a small live filter box to all of them, to make it quicker to jump to the desired edition.

Nicer Feedbacks for traders and sellers

Other UI improvements include the new trade/seller scores you can see now listed near the usernames on the website and forum. (This is by the way clickable! Click them to open a nice dialog with all the feedback texts.)

Inventory Privacy

There has been a long standing request from some users that do not wish their full inventory listed publicly.

Now you can access the Privacy options on your Inventory page, under Tools. You can either set a password on it, or set it completely private (visible only to your user).

Other

In other media news, there has been an article on The Meadery about our 3.0 release smile [1]. (If you did not know about The Meadery, check it out, it has very cool Mtg articles).

Hi,
Is there an update on this topic?

Will be released tommorow.

Good point, we'll try creating a UI for this.

Good point, will add it!

Yep, should be fixed in tomorrow's release.
