He's entitled to do whatever he wants. People are also entitled to trade with him if they want despite him needing "value." If it works for him, it works. Just ignore those few and trade with other people if you don't like it. If no one traded with those people, it would probably stop.

It can be annoying, but at the end of the day, it's THEIR deckbox, their cards, their prerogative. If you don't want to give up excess value to trade with them, you don't have to - trading is a two way agreement. I feel like the people on here that only trade if value is in their favor only do it because people are willing to go along with it to be honest. Typically these profiles have a huge variety of cards and are also willing to trade for a huge variety of cards. I've done some of these trades in the past simply because everyone else on deckbox can be very stingy with particular cards whereas these people will trade for just about anything if you give extra value. I've had cards sit on my tradelist for months with NO INTEREST FROM ANYONE only to then trade a handful of them for one rare card that I really needed. Sure, he got an extra $25 of "value" but I don't tend to buy more expensive cards, so what's the difference if I throw in $25 worth of cards that no one else wants?

I have two masterpieces, but neither of them fit my playstyle and I would like to turn them into other things I could use. One is Cryptic Command and one is Ornithopter. I would be open to trading them for other masterpieces I could play with (No Mercy, Crucible of Worlds, Wurmcoil Engine, etc.) But what I could REALLY use is a Yawgmoth’s Will. Let me know if you have one and would trade it and possible a bit more for one of my masterpieces.

I'm open to offers - but generally I play EDH so cards that are good in EDH. I particularly like the swords, worm coil engine, other versatile inventions and of course of equal value.

Hey all! I just opened a cryptic command masterpiece - but I don't really like to play blue that often and don't have much of a use for it. I would rather trade it for cards I would actually play. However, because it's an Invocation and pretty special, I would like to trade it for other masterpieces. There aren't too many I specifically have in mind, but if youre dying to get a Cryptic Command invocation and you have other masterpieces to trade, make me an offer!
I would consider trading it for it for non-masterpieces, but it would have to be very significantly in my favor as these things tend to rise in price and I don't anticipate this version to ever be reprinted.

Would do this trade straight up with maybe a bit of bulk on your side if you have stuff. Also would do Cavern plus another 20 or so of value on my side for a crucible of worlds.
