It would be helpful if a New Rotation filter were added to the inventory search filters so that during these periods of upheaval, players could easily see which cards they currently own to build rotation safe standard decks.

I’m at Magic Inferno tonight for the M13 pre-release. It’s a very postive feeling to be here and be ready to participate. I feel that I drew some pretty good cards, but win or lose, I will have fun.

Topic: Keeping my cool and my MTG collection (0 replies, posted in General Discussion)
What follows is the Daytona Beach Survival Guide. This is based upon my VERY recent experiences as a stranded tourist with no money in Daytona Beach, Florida. Although, I had 37.5 lbs of Magic the Gathering cards in a suitcase with me, I managed to get through the situation without selling a single card and keeping my collection intact. Other issues raised include: sleeping in public (especially as it relates to the homeless), tourism, and access to the internet.

I will say, it would have been nice if the inventory to tradelist feature in Deckbox were active as I had to export my modern inventory card list and repost it when things were looking very ugly back in Independence, Missouri, (before Daytona Beach). My understanding is Deckbox.org is working on that feature and fortunately, I did not need to use it. When I got to Altamonte Springs with my complete collection, I was able to relax, play some MTG, and trade a my Tibalt for 2 Birds of Paradise.

Topic: Deckbox.org blocked at local OfficeMax wifi hotspot. (0 replies, posted in Site Discussion)
I tried accessing the site from an OfficeMax in St. George, Utah and it came up site blocked as a "games" site.
Fortunately, there are plenty of other hotspots for accessing Deckbox.org and now I'm just going to use a digital copy.
Update: June 12, 2012. I stopped in again and the site is no longer site-blocked at that OfficeMax.
