I've one Rakdos guild token. I realize it's not the lot you asked for, but if your other offers don't include that one, please let me know.

sebi, et al.: This interface update will be an IMMENSE help in matching up trades here on Deckbox. Thank you for your continued hard work!

What are the options you have to choose from in these menus? For the country trade, can I assume that we can choose either local or mail and a specific country (or countries) and/or a region?

Also, I noticed the trade score and trade percentage menus in the screenshot say "is largen than" ... should be "is larger than."

Helios52, this is very well-written and thought-out. Thank you for taking the time and effort to collect and elaborate on these etiquette guidelines. I think they will prove exceptionally helpful to this community. You are fully awesome.

May I suggest some clearer language for the email option section?

Using the "Email" option on a person's profile can be used as a last option to get a trade going. This option sends a message to the email account associated with their profile, but it has no direct connection to Deckbox, so it will require the trader to manually start up a trade with you. You're more likely to get a response by sending a trade proposal to someone (with an introduction in chat panel) than sending them a email where the other person would have to do all the work. If you want something from them, make the effort to get the ball rolling.

Two things I wanted to add to this thread:

1) First, I think the sound advice and level-headedness of the folks who've responded to woodmster123 is awesome. I've seen a number of scam topics over the past few months and it's refreshing to see some practical and thoughtful replies here vs. a torch-and-pitchfork mob. UnstableFlux is very correct when they say that folks have busy lives and can't always make Deckbox their top priority. That said, communication in the trade panel is critical for everyone. It sounds like you're doing your part, woodmster123.

2) Track, track, track. I realize that tracking alone can't compensate for lost cards, but, as Vincentarasin pointed out, it's leverage to your benefit for any potential disputes. I always send packages with tracking for any trade over $8-10, more for my own peace of mind, but also as a convenience to the other trader. As others have stated to better effect in other threads, PayPal's USPS shipping labels (paypay.com/shipnow) are my go-to for tracking packages in the U.S.

I have an Intangible Virtue, plus a couple of other cards on your wishlist. It would be a small trade, though, so please let me know if you're interested.

Thanks!

Id be interested depending what your looking for wink

Thanks for responding!

Key items on my wishlist include:

* Ajani, Caller of the Pride x 2 (M14)
* Gideon, Champion of Justice x 2
* Imposing Sovereign x 1
* Isolated Chapel x 2
* Mizzium Mortars x 3
* Sacred Foundry x 1

I'd prefer to lean more on the Standard choices, but at least one other Chapel would be useful to me.

Note that I'll consider all trades and notify everyone who's responded about my decision.

Got it. Thank you for responding!

Bump to push this back to the top of the stack.

Note my edits above; I am accepting trades vs. solely payment for this foil.

Hey, folks!

I pulled a foil Progenitor Mimic from a Dragon's Maze booster this past weekend. I've no interest in keeping it, so I wanted to see whether anyone here is interested.

My initial offer for straight $$$ went unanswered, so I'll try again and see if folks are willing to trade items from my wishlist (see link below). I am willing to trade down on this, as I've no interest in keeping the Mimic for any of my decks and my wishlist is somewhat small. Ideally, I'd like a trade that is between $17-23 in value.

If you prefer, I'll also accept payment through PayPal for the value stated above. We can discuss specifics in a trade thread.

Thank you very much!

Something I thought of this weekend regarding the machinable issue: there are a lot of greeting cards that don't require extra postage that are about as stiff (if not more so) than a toploader with three MTG cards. Perhaps that's why some of us in this forum haven't reported any issues?

shifty4690 is correct.  The top loaders make the envelope ridged (non-machinable).  That's why you are required to add the extra 20¢.  It is not up to their discretion.  They often don't catch it (or they are just too lazy to care).  I've had many things come postage due, and I've also have them returned.  Depending on how much you owe, you might even have to goto the post office to get the item.  Point is, you shouldn't really be cheap about it.  It's fricking 20¢, if you can't afford that much extra.  You shouldn't be playing magic in the first place.

It goes like this:

(Regular envelope with top loader and less than 1/4 thick.)
1 ounce : 66¢
2 ounces : 86¢
3 ounces : $1.06
4 ounces : becomes large envelope rate which I don't remember exactly, but around $1.50

USPS is terrible about paying attention to the weight of items.  MANY ebay sellers under value shipping because they almost never get caught and that equals more money for them.  Pretty crappy, and people wonder why USPS keeps going up and up.  Probably the same people that use priority boxes inside of brown paper and the like (which is actually a felony.  You're stealing from the USPS)

I'm actually really surprised to hear all of this. I've been shipping single toploaders with up to four cards using a single 44 cent "forever" stamp for the better part of a year now (in two different states) and have never had an issue. The only "postage due" return I received was an envelope I sent to Quebec with two stamps (really needed three for that or international stamps). The "non-machinable" fact is new to me and helpful for the future.

Also, I've received a number of single toploaders in humble check-size envelopes with no issue.

Maybe this depends on the local office? It would make sense that the volume of mail (or tempermant of staff) would discourage a sharper eye on things.

I've one Concerted Effort up for trade. I'll get something started.

Got a trade I wanted. Thanks, everyone!

This has become a duel of over the use of the word "dual." A "dual duel," if you will.

I'm quite certain this pun will land me in a heap of trouble.

I'd be willing to trade 2x Isolated Chapel for 3x Clifftop, or something thereabouts

I'd go for that trade (2 Chapels for 3 Retreats). Set up an offer and let's work it out.

To be fair, I sent turkisheho a message before you replied, so I would want to see what s/he has in mind as well. I've no intention of drawing this out, so both of you will get a quick response.

I'm looking to move three of my Clifftop Retreats for any combination of the following:

* Sacred Foundry
* Boros Reckoner
* Isolated Chapel
* non-rotating cards you feel will improve my FNM Boros deck: http://deckbox.org/sets/372305

I've a few other rotating items on my tradelist such as Stromkirk Noble x 3 and Angelic Overseer x 2 that can be thrown in as well.

Thanks for your interest!

I didn't take your tone as such, so we're good. You saved me from unneeded trades, and that's worth something.

I wasn't playing MTG during the Mirrodin block; why aren't they Modern-legal?

Oh, no I did not! I appreciate the heads-up on those. Thank you.

Final bump. Added a few more Standard items to my tradelist.

Thanks for looking!

Bump, with updated wants. Let's trade!

Having not played League of Legends, a good bit of this escapes me, but I love the card designs and what the creators are coming up with. The mixture of hybrid symbols on a few of the cards, such as R/B R/B G G, is a curious, but flavorful, touch.

Hey, there! Thanks so much for sharing these cards you created. I love seeing player-generated sets like this.

Hoo boy, Nazo's second ability is nuts! Destroy PLUS an X discard? WOW.

From your notes on "Kami - Shinto Creature," the Innistrad block enchantment Spectral Flight does precisely the same thing (Aura that grants +2/+2 and flying). Also, what's the flavor or reason for checking whether you cast another spell that turn? What about "if you cast another spell this turn, Kami, Shinto Creature gets/does X"?

On "Kappa," your phrase "can swim very well" caught my eye. Give him islandwalk, perhaps? I love the flavor of your quote here, by the way.

Lastly, I love the origin story for Kashikoi. If he wants to help protect others, however, doesn't that give him the opportunity to venture into the white side of the color pie a bit? Also, haste is not really a blue-flavored keyword for Suijin ... perhaps lifelink or flying? Shroud is awesome; we don't see that enough these days.

Just made you an offer for your Legion's Initiative.
