I wanted to jump in and concur. Thank you so much for building the tool, but agree on both points that it should be a suggestion and should start at 2.

The most impactful thing you mentioned for sure was adding a filter to their trade list for "Is on my Want List"

In that vein, should be able to sort their want list by "Is on my Trade List"

Until Seb is able to implement something like that, you can use this tag from Scryfall to at least see the possible cards:

https://scryfall.com/search?q=otag%3Ama … rce=tagger

What I personally do and might help is every card in my collection has a tag (usually "Organized" saying that it has been placed in an appropriate box).

That way anything I import otherwise goes into a sort of inbox of not having a tag.

ymmv of course, but just a potential technique

One of my next projects is I want to build Primordial decks to start using a lot of the chafe in my collection.

https://primordialformat.com/

TlDr; 40 card format, all cards from the same set code. Only 2 rares in the deck, and they must be different. Only 6 Uncommons and no more than 2 of the same Uncommon. Everything else is fair game.

I don't anticipate this being a high priority, and can work around it until implemented. But just wanted to throw it out there just in case its a lot easier to add than I think.

I dont play Oathbreaker but plus 1 to this one given its like choosing a background in commander and is important.

May I suggest, for a simple first implementation, adding 2 (optional) columns in the grid views for percent change for 1 day and 7 days? Would love if we could go back further but unsure how much you are keeping

There isn't an undo button to make this super duper easy, but there is a "Last Modified" column you can add to your inventory view and you can sort by that and it will likely group all of those imports real close together, making it easier to remove?

Hey Sebi!

Any chance the site could store maybe the last 7 days of price data and add a column for percent change, like mtg stocks has? Would be cool to easily see which parts of my collection have moved in the last week/day.

I imagine your prices update once a day. If space of that data isn't bigger than I imagine, you could just not throw out the old data?

Just a thought smile

Hey guys! I stumbled on this great CGP Gray Video about how Postal Codes work. For those of you like me who love system design, the video is fun on its own merits.

The Hidden Pattern in Post Codes https://youtu.be/1K5oDtVAYzk?si=jeRrvWubgWFlld0C

But why post it here?

In the video he explains how the optional 4 character code at the end of your post code helps get your envelopes sorted more quickly when present. All it takes is a few minutes finding the code and adding it to your address on deckbox!

Yeah, same collector number makes this annoying, but I suppose it is consistent for any non-traditional foil treatment to list it out separately.

Hello,

Which ones have both a foil & normal printing, could you post a link? Will check it out.

I want to say all of the Marvel Secret Lair cards are separated. Here is a sample search that shows two of them separated by the base printing and "Rainbow Foil"

https://www.tcgplayer.com/search/magic/ … ;view=grid

I can go get more if needed, but figured this would show it off.

I am interested if there is a better way than what I am about to describe, because I too am new to these features and am just starting to get into trading. Haven't completed one yet, and of course the first one I try, something (minor) went wrong so now its delayed. Anyway...

Yes, use "Auto mark unused for trade". I also created a "Do-not-trade" tag for items I know will be put into a deck soon. So you can press the auto-trade button, then immediately filter your trade list by the do not trade tag, and remove those from the list.

old thread, but wanted to bring this up too. Ideally, maybe a new set for each artist series since its kind of a new art print and not just a foil. Would be helpful with the MKM art series since some of the stamps are on every card in that one and it would help to know.

What do you mean by "categorize the cards"?

Sorry! I meant the #tags/public notes.

I am inputting a cube and wanted to categorize the cards. There are hundreds of cards to categorize and I wanted to make sure there wasn't a bulk option before I go line by line.

Splitting "The List" by the underlying edition is **Chef's Kiss**

My only other use case is, given The List is now curated by set, is seeing that distribution.  However I am able to get that info from other sources so it's not super important to have it here, but wanted to throw it out just in case something came to you.

Amazing work as always.

Just wanted to bump this up. Wondering if its as simple as just enabling the Doctor cards to be marked as a Partner like the Stranger Things cards.

Yeah its a lot of collector numbers but the same card is listed 3-4 times on there. You have regular cards, full art normal art, TARDIS Special Frames, and Surge Foil versions of all of those. Plus a rainbow foil that I have not been lucky enough to even know what it looks like. Oh, and serialized cards.

That said, in terms of collecting them, if you buy one of each of the commander decks, you have at least 1 of each mechanically unique cards. So if you just want the cards to play with, its easy to collect them.

I don't think this set is designed to collect 1 of each collector number, as again most of the collector numbers are just 3-5 versions of the same card.

Sounds good! Will import my precons manually until informed otherwise!

You could probably use a tag for this

sebi wrote:

Hmm it will not retroactively automatically merge stuff in your inventory.

Why do you have many duplicated entries though? Is this from importing?

Not the OP but my current entry workflow is to enter things without tags, review a batch I have entered, physically sort the cards into my library, and then apply a tag saying the cards have been organized.

This is resulting in some duplicate rows that, at the moment, I’m not in a hurry to fix as I can wait till
It builds up and fix them later. But a retro fix would be great if it’s an option.

Thank you Seb! Been keeping a few piles on my desk waiting on this update, I really appreciate all your work with this stuff.
