My one suggestion would be to add a segment explaining trading up and trading down and how 1 $50 card does not equal 10 $5 cards etc. If that's been covered somewhere else and I just missed it then ignore me.

I vehemently disagree with this suggestion.  I have and will trade a $50 card for 10 $5 cards.  I don't always do it but I also don't always not do it.  This is a trader's perogative.  I don't feel there should be behaviorial guidlines as to individual desires.  The end users may communicate in the chatbox if the trade is to their liking or not.

In short:  This is part of communication not a rule.

I wasn't trying to say that this should be a rule that everyone needs to obey, just a general guideline that is more relevant than not in my opinion.

I absolutely agree with everything you said, Helios. Thank you. smile My one suggestion would be to add a segment explaining trading up and trading down and how 1 $50 card does not equal 10 $5 cards etc. If that's been covered somewhere else and I just missed it then ignore me.

7/113 =/= "most" in my book. And I'd bet he wasn't expecting anyone to do a down trade like that.

Are his cards tied up in a confirmed trade or just a trade discussion?  If it's a discussion, he's likely just feeling out which trade will give him a better return on his cards.  I it's a confirmed trade, you have almost no chance of getting that trade (unless he has more of the same card unlisted).

It's just a discussion, but it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

As the title says, what is a reasonable amount of time to wait for a response when trading with an individual? Most of the people I've traded with respond at least once a day and that is good enough for me. I currently have an open trade where the other person responded the day I started the trade, but hasn't responded since. That was 3 days ago and he has been online every day since the trade was opened. Is it reasonable for me to look elsewhere for those cards and cancel the trade? I just now noticed that the cards on his side of the trade are also tied up in a trade with someone else. To me that is a huge turn-off toward trading with this individual.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
