1) New Deckbox (and many other similar site) members almost always send first. It's unfortunate that your trade partner didn't specify this in the trade, but it is the general practice. He should have made sure you were aware of this. In the end you both got the cards from the trade (ignoring condition and such for the moment) so no harm was really done here.

2) His cards arriving damaged. You say it was poor packaging and that could very well be the case. However, it sounds like the first thing you did was leave him negative feedback instead of trying to find a positive resolution.

3) His negative feedback in this case is totally justified. The entirety of his feedback relates to what happened after the cards were received.

4) Sebi is the only person that manages this site, so he is very busy.

You have two options:
1) Leave both negative feedbacks and both of you move on with your lives.
2, and the significantly better option) Work out a reasonable resolution that you are both satisfied with. The options for which are both of you returning the cards, him sending replacements, him purchasing replacements, or him sending cash through paypal (note that cash value does not equal trade value). Getting damaged cards sucks. Receiving negative feedback for something that you could have remedied sucks. Not being on Deckbox sucks. If you and your trade partner can work something out, Sebi can reset the feedback for the trade so you can both leave positive feedback when it gets resolved.

I would suggest not buying it. It's a safe bet to say that most of the cards are bulk and therefore not worth much in terms of cash value or playability.

Thanks, Sebi. smile

Gatherer doesn't link well as the urls contain braces.

I submitted a ticket to Sebi yesterday. The issue occurs when not logged in and when viewing any list: Inventory, Tradelist, Wishlist, Cards for Sale, Decks etc.

Huh, you're right. Totally a problem; I assume it's a bug. I'll let Sebi know.

Hmmm, the link looks fine and it works for me. Being logged in shouldn't have any effect here. It's possible Sebi was applying an update at the same time and that messed it up, but that seems unlikely.

Try sending them this link. It's to your tradelist, but has the sort info chopped off.

Post the link that you're sending to them here please, so we can see what they see.

There is a Premium feature that adds a checklist to the individual edition pages. This would be the best way to quickly see which cards you have (and are missing) from each set.

Thrummingbird and Skyship Plunderer could be options.

Seems to be working just fine for me, on Chrome. Idk if has always worked this way or not, but I can only add to decks.

Just because Sebi doesn't respond to every post doesn't mean he ignores them. He has a lot to do for the site and this likely isn't his only job.

there still isn't a SINGLE pricing on any of the Aether Revolt cards

Where are you looking? I see values for Aether Revolt cards both on the Aether Revolt edition page and in decks.

How come there are still no prices available? With other series the prices would already be known during pre-release

For the most part prices are based on what's listed for sale here on Deckbox.

Speaking of...it's up on Gatherer now, Sebi. There are braces in the url so I can't directly to the Aether Revolt cards.

Sebi generally adds sets when they show up on Gatherer, which is usually the Monday before the release.

"Count" (Inventory count)
"Tradelist Count"
"Name"
"Edition"
"Condition" (Mint, Near Mint, Good (Lightly Played), Played, Heavily Played, Damaged)
"Language"
"Foil" (foil or blank)
"Signed"
"Artist Proof"
"Misprint"
"Promo"
"Textless"
"My Price" (for seller accounts)

Specifically in that order, though not all are needed, without the quotes. Foil through Textless are just extra tags. My Price is only used for seller accounts. If you don't specify Condition or Language it will just be left blank.

Some cards will have issues, such as Lim-Dul's Vault and other cards with special characters.

You could try adding some cards with varying characteristics and then doing an export just to see what it looks like.

Sebi would likely never do this on his own time, simply because it wouldn't make him any money. If we could get him to tell us what kind of format to put it in so the community could do all the work that might work. Then the community could go through and tag everything and all Sebi would need to do is develop the implementation for the tags.

There's a premium feature that does this: thread
