I always just look it up on oracle and compare the image.

There does not appear to be either a way to search by language or to sort by language. I'd suggest just go through page by page and look for the flag. At that point, click on the edit box (at the end of the field with the card name) and in that box change the flag and hit apply.

Topic: 'add button' disregards 'default set' (1 replies, posted in Site Discussion)
These examples are completely off the top of my head, but the bug is still there.
When importing cards from a specific edition, I'll set the default set to that edition. So say I set it to 7th edition, and I have three counterspell(s), I type in counterspell then hit '+' twice. The second and third counterspell that's added won't be the proper edition even though I have the default set. (just an example, it may not be that way with this specific card, but it is with a majority of cards)

One thing I've found that when entering cards is that it's usually easiest to not start at the beginning of the card's name. For example (random example off the top of my head), punching in "Wrath of God".. Start punching in Wrath and you'll probably bring up a list of cards, but just type in "th of go" and there will only be one match.

Yup, you're right. I didn't look closely enough at it as I don't usually run with cards that pre-buff my creatures so I just assumed it was an instant.

Probably not super important for this scenario, but it's important to understand how it works.
I have a single creature, I declare an attack with it, after that, I cast Enlarge on it, while Enlarge is still on the stack, you cast Celestial Flare targeting me. Celestial Flare resolves and I'm forced to sacrifice my one attacking creature. Enlarge tries to resolve, but at this point it fizzles because all of its targets are no longer valid.

Topic: Show cost on import (0 replies, posted in Site Discussion)
Not being a "hardcore" collector, I don't know the value of most of what I have. However, I have been collecting for years and have a very wide range of cards. I've been going through my cards and importing them one by one, it'd be great if when they were imported it showed the current going rate of that card in that little area that pops up under the text box.
What I did to help with this was to sort my collection by value, then after inputting each card check to see if it showed up on the front page. This took much longer than just glancing at a value that could be displayed next to other info that's already displayed on the screen.

I'd say drop [c]Descendants' Path[/c]. The chances of you flipping up a creature are about 1 in 3, and not enough of your creatures share a type for it to be useful, you're looking at getting an extra card 1 in every 9 or so turns--so only one or two extra cards per game. Other than that, everything looks pretty much like it'd work. As long as you can ramp up quick enough you'll be fine.
Also, I know you said you weren't looking to spend money on the deck, but the 2013 commander pre-constructed decks that're in stores now are only thirty bucks--which sounds like a lot for only one deck, but it's got a ton of rare cards in it, and a bunch of lands that are especially helpful for commander. Specifically, the "Nature of the Beast" deck is pretty similar to what you're trying to accomplish. If you got that and pulled out some of the weaker cards and mixed in what you have, you'd have a pretty awesome casual commander deck.
I highly recommend buying at least one commander deck just because there are so many "necessary" cards that they come with. But in the end it's all about the fun you can get out of it, so if you're pretty evenly matched against your friends with what you've got, then stick with that.
