Anyone interested in getting a regular playgroup together to play casual Magic such as EDH/Commander? I'm thinking a weeknight when the restaurant isn't very busy at the Denny's near I-10 and Washington.

Re: database import (5 replies, posted in Houston Casual Magic)
Would be nice to offer an API so we can show off our collection on our own websites or Facebook
You might want to mention that over the main forum's suggestions section.

Anyway I can make a deckbox.org card database by importing an Excel or CSV file? I'd rather not start over from scratch just to have it in another format.
Not directly, but there is an Import Multiple Cards At Once option available under the Add Cards option. The format is plain text along these lines:
4 Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker
4 Black Lotus
4 Baneslayer Angel

That would indeed be a nice feature.

Re: deck export & MTGUrl.com? (2 replies, posted in Site Discussion)
If you go on a deck's page and select Print from the View menu, you'll be able to copy paste the cards, in a format that is accepted by mtgurl.
I've been looking at the mtgurl website, but I cannot find the statistics you are referring to? Can you post a link?
Thanks.
Sure, here you go: http://mtgurl.com/a/tdZr

Box sets coming soon as well. They weren't in for the same reason... they're not on gatherer.
Gatherer is the official site, but I've found that magiccards.info has more complete information.

Any chance of adding a deck export feature that would format the exported data in the format that MTGUrl.com uses? Or better yet having something like it's Deck Statistics on Deckbox.org itself?

Re: Missing Cards & Tokens (9 replies, posted in Site Discussion)
I will be adding Mirrored Depths, which is I think the only missing plane.
Horizon Boughs is also missing.
About the special printings... For player rewards you can leave the edition empty as they're not technically part of the edition, and mark the textless checkbox. The DCI and pre-release cards I'm marking by checking the Promo checkbox. Not sure if this is correct, or maybe they need to be separate... Is there any card that was both a Pre-Release promo, and also a different kind of DCI promo? If there is, I'll separate the checkbox into multiple options.
It would be nice if there was a placeholder/fake edition entry called Player Rewards though (that's how most of the card database seem to handle them).

What would it take to add support for additional TCGs like Epic TCG (card database) and The Spoils (card database)?

Any chance of adding the missing cards and tokens from http://magiccards.info/extras.html in particular the additional Planechase Plane cards?
