Just wondering about the $250 price for the promo/foil version of Emrakul, the Aeons Torn?

Everyplace I've seen it it's usually valued equal or even a bit less then the standard Emrakul.  When I mark mine as promo, the price still matches the non-promo.  When I also add the "foil" tag (which it physically is) it jumps from $35 to $250...  I believe that's only correct for the standard(non-promo)/foiled card.

Is there any way to correct this so with both tags selected it still reflects the lower price or does the foil tag always take precedence?

I'm just leaving mine without the foil tag for now (only marked promo) to get a better overall value for my full set.

Not really a big issue as I think all of the promo Emrakul cards are foil anyway so just marking promo should be enough.  But it did confuse me for a bit until I started fiddling with the tag fields.

Thanks.

Just wondered about sorting the cards in trades by edition like the inventory and tradelist screens.  It would also be nice to be able to sort alphabetically or by edition in the potential trade/card matching screen as well.

Being able to sort by edition would make pulling cards MUCH easier.  In larger trades it can be difficult to find all the cards from a specific edition when they are all mixed up due to only sorting the list alphabetically.  So after I put the box away for tempest I find I missed one card and have to go back and dig the box out a 2nd (or even 3rd) time...

Had a thought about the issue of over committing cards in multiple trades.

What about adding a new column on the left side (similar to "Tradelist Count") that shows the total number of that card currently found in all current/open/accepted/unshipped trades.

I had a single strip mine I put up for trade that I successfully traded to three people on three different days.  Didn't realize it until I started pulling cards and shipping them.  Only when I hit cards shipped did the problem flag on the 2nd and 3rd trade that I had already accepted.  I was very annoyed to have to pull a strip mine from an active deck to follow through properly on those trades.

Another idea is to add a new column on the right side showing how many cards of each type listed you have in your wishlist.  It would save a lot of going back and forth between the trade page and potential trade/card matching page as well as all the scrolling up and down when adjusting card counts for larger trades.  Having that info right there would save a lot of time and help avoid mistakes.

I was just thinking about that myself...

Something along the lines of this seems like it should be possible to implement.

1: start a trade with someone.
2: open the wishlist/tradelist card matching screen.
3: select a check box on the left of the match entries you are interested in.  These can be entries from both your wishlist and the cards they need from you.
4: hit a button to add 1 of each of the selected cards to the open trade with that person.
5: go into the trade screen and adjust the number for each card if you want more than one.

Bump.

Yes.  Very curious...

As I had 99 listed at $0.40/$75.30/$225 it seriously messed with the set valuation at anything other than low pricing.

Temp fix is just drop them from the DB but a bit annoying none the less.  wink
