I'm back up and running, Boils & Ghouls.
I'll steadily be adding some things to my tradelist over the next week or so, but I am once again actively trading.

Hello all! Its been awhile, I apologize if you have made a trade offer to me to no avail, I was on hiatus from paper magic to focus on college studies.
My collection is a smidge out of date, missing some cards and containing some cards I might have sold. I will always check before confiming a trade if I no longer have one.
If you're interested in trading again, hmu! I might send some out in the future once I start crafting a deck I plan on making.
I should specify that I’m looking for a sealed case of 6 boxes, but I’ll really take what I can get at this point lol.

So the mayhem has started. On the one hand, I hate what UB has done to MtG's identity and taken away from the in-universe focus. On the other, I can't help but be excited for certain crossovers - Final Fantasy being chief among them.
I absolutely adore FF and I told myself this would be the one UB I would go hard on. That being said, the opening sellout rate is incredible. We have a ways to go till launch, but wow. I am determined to find a sealed case of Collector Boosters for personal enjoyment. None of that resale or investing bs - I truly want to open those boxes. Sadly, I don't have anything local that will be able to help with any boxes. I'm putting out feelers to see if someone can help with a local store of their own that might have a case available, long shot though that may be. Those who have helped me with things in the past can attest that I will pay you immediately and there will be zero problems with the transaction.
This may very well go unanswered but it's worth a shot. I love FF and I'm hoping to have some fun with this release!
I'll reach out - I know the owner of my LGS pretty well, and he always sets aside a box or two for me if he can get them.
Can't make any promises, but never hurts to ask.

After 1300 trades the great Steven M has fallen.... into a state of positive mindsets. i just shipped out th elast of my scrapped decks to various buylists. i think im just going to keep my 8 or 9 decks with the 3 precons i have sleeved up (that im still trying to sell) may have a few kudos with the FF set after seeing cute cat girl, but Shadowverse Evolve and Grand archive have my attention

No, definitely not falling. Just ready to push out what I have, follow the Professor's advice and buy the singles no one will trade me, and start back from the ground up, lol.

So it's finally time - I'm pulling the plug.
OK, not completely - but I WILL be selling off 95% of my tradelist this coming weekend. Not cutting out completely, since I still love the game, just reprioritizing and rebooting (i.e., decluttering, lol).
So if I have anything you need at this time, please hit me up if you want to work something out - I'll be deleting my tradelist on Friday and starting from scratch next week.

So update - I went to my LGS yesterday, and managed to trade for every card on my list but 1: Still looking for that Temporal Mastery in foil.
But I got my Avacyn, so yay!
I did grab a few play boosters (And promptly remembered why I never do anymore) so there are some INR on my tradelist now, but nothing earth-shattering.

I ended up picking 2 Collector packs bc I didn’t really want anything from this set. That being said, I almost had a heart attack when I opened the foil Edgar showcase thinking it was serialized. I’ know someone who pulled 2 of those Avacyns and I’ll see if they will part with one. No promises tho

Wondering if anyone's picking any of this up.
I generally pick up a CB or two for each set, but between some work issues and the obnoxious price point, I'll be skipping this release (And likely Aetherdrift as well, but that's more of a flavor miss for me).
That said, I ~REALLY~ want a foil poster art of the new Avacyn, Angel of Hope for my angel deck. So I figured I'd throw this out, and let everyone know I A) was looking for it, and B) might have a few unlisted things I'd be willing to part with in exchange.

Yeah, I didn't know where to put it. I don't understand why it did not get a normal collector number in the proper set, like the other Buy-a-Box promo...
I might need to unify all promos related to an edition to a single "promos" side-edition, like scryfall does.
I don't blame you - a little consistency on the part of WOTC would be hugely helpful, I'm sure.

So I had the thought that we could use this thread to post cards we're prioritizing in our trades, as A: people don't always read profiles, where I tend to list mine, and B: The search feature doesn't always seem to work correctly. So post what you're looking for here, and hopefully, if anyone has a copy, you can work something out.

I WILL state that Jeweled Lotus was created FOR commander, and I've seen more people die to their own crypts than not, but I don't run either card, so....:shrug:
