Yea, he hit me up as well. Hopefully not another scammer, but I didn't want the variant of the one card he had off of my list, so it didn't go anywhere. Always appreciate the heads up - let us know how it goes.

Re: Medillon18

Got one from him, too. Originally hit me up for around $200 worth of stuff before I pointed out he had 3 things from my Wishlist that amounted to like $30-something lol. I may wait to see how yours pans out before I go any further with it.

Re: Medillon18

Ill let you know. Hes trading an old school foil graveborn muse for a bunch of standard stuff, and he says its NM so im suspicious. Especially ifits fake

Re: Medillon18

Following this, yes he also hit me up and the tradelist alone makes me concerned. Though someone new to db it isn't uncommon for everything to be marked as NM without realizing it. Let me know how those trades turn out!

Re: Medillon18

he didnt "have" the graveborn, so hes asking if im ok swapping for a foil thousand year elixer instead. I asked him for pics

Re: Medillon18

This guy really has a bajillion trades going at once, but it doesn't look he's sent out a single thing. I dunno, this seems strange to me. His first trade and he's giving away a RL card for shite in Standard??? C'mon now...

Re: Medillon18

Yeah, something seems very off, considering some of the accepted trades were well within when they should have already sent the cards.

The only other thing I could think of is they don't know to hit the "Sent" button when sending out the trade, but I feel like someone would have mentioned it to them by now.

Wonder if it was someone trying to fish out some free cards from someone or what.

Re: Medillon18

not sure if i can post the address here to see if he is a scammer but he doesnt have a last name in the address

I have a feeling that posting the address would be against the rules and technically doxxing, but not having a last name in the address is for sure sketchy.

Without posting it, have you Googled the address to see if it's an actual residence or a mail forwarding service/PO box?

Re: Medillon18

its a senior living apartment complex

That was my thought. Trying to set up as many as possible to see who would be willing to send “simultaneously” and then bolt. By the time the first report came in, they’d have had X many scammed/en route.

Major red flag, IMO. I will blatantly refuse to trade with anyone who's unwilling to give all the proper information.
See the only time I've had to report someone in ten years: Michael343i4u34u (or whatever numbers were after his name).

So long as you hold to the 'they send first' protocol, you're safe, but I'd definitely steer clear, personally.

Yeah, Michael scammed me on my second trade on this site, which made me stick to trading with people who had a good chunk of refs for a while.

I'd definitely say if they're not giving a last name, they're likely trying to scam people.

Re: Medillon18

Im thinking we gotta let Sebi know about this. he keeps confirming trades, and hasnt sent anything yet. and its just more excuses

I reached out to EddieRoadDogg to give him a heads up since he is showing as having sent out his end.

Re: Medillon18

Good thing he's already blocked. I would never send first in this situation, but there was definitely something scmmy here from the jump.

I wonder if Eddie has the address and we can find out if it's still the Retirement Home.  Maybe they work there, and he could file a mail fraud case with the local police against the fraudster.

Re: Medillon18

he gave me a 9505 tracking number, given that other people are saying he didnt even ship, -if- the item arrives, im simply writing return to sender on it. It very well could be a bunch of bulk commons or a fake card. not risking it

Wild. Thank goodness for this community and the transparency of the trade system that this can be cut off before he was able to get away with a bunch of people's cards.

Re: Medillon18

I didnt know at first that our forum was public xD we have over 500 views on this thread. but still. Id like to be a little empathetic here, but given that he couldnt send pictures, confirmed alot of trades, didnt reply at all, and kept making excuses? yea its fishy. its not even worth opening the package

This is legitimately one of the reasons I created this group - and I'm happy to see everyone working together to protect each other.
At the risk of sounding cheesy, appreciate all of you.
