DotP 2014 Steam Promo Pack Codes

I am new to the forums. I am looking to trade some unused codes for shock lands. Is this frowned upon? I have posted this in the trading section but am looking for feedback as I do not want to do anything that as a new user will cause me to be looked at negatively.
