Topic: Invisible Overseers [Opinions, Casual?]

I don't know what format it would be considered, but I play fairly casually with friends of mine with whatever cards we have.

The deck I currently have that dominates all of our others is:

However, I was curious if there were anything thoughts of ways to improve it. Thanks!

Re: Invisible Overseers [Opinions, Casual?]

I'm not a huge fan of Elite Inquisitor or Spirit Mantle in this deck and I think 4 Loxodon Warhammers is too many.

I would drop a warhammer or two as well as the other cards I mentioned for the following:
2x Oblivion Ring
2x Champion of the Parish
1-2x Vapor Snag

I think the deck will have more consistent games with these changes.

Re: Invisible Overseers [Opinions, Casual?]

I suppose the theme of my deck was to equip my stalkers and swing for unblockable lifelink. Hence 4 Loxodon Warhammers, which would lead to an 8 point life difference a turn with just one warhammer. They can also be shoved onto the overseers for flying/lifelink/trample which is fairly hard to block (also 16 damage if a flail makes it way onto it).

The original idea was for the spirit mantles to serve as a backup to the stalkers, especially equipped on Inquisitors because they'd be able to both sneak damage through AND block. Not only that, but I always felt they were just a nasty 2 drop to face with both first strike and vigilance. The mantles could also be placed on the champions for unblockable stalker-esque growing creatures.

Essentially you've removed some damage in favor of more control. I think that's a good idea, and I suppose there's already enough unblockable lying around. However I believe the hammers are key to this deck (granted, swords are better, but I don't have any).

I've edited the deck to reflect these changes.
